I am looking have my wife’s Cabbage Patch Kid’ s face repainted. My young son drew marker on it and when we tried to clean it, it erased some of the eye. Does anyone know an artist or a toy repair person that can accomplish this task? Please email me at:

Cabbage Patch Kid: How can I fix the voice box?

I’ve found a 1987 talking Cabbage Patch Kid. I put batteries in it and the mouth moves but no voice. I’m guessing the 9V battery runs one system and the 4 AAs run the other. Does the 9V run the voice box? Any ideas on getting it to work again?

I have watched how to reroot a cabbage patch doll hair. I have a doll that has 2 pony tails. She also has little loop (curls) covering her head. I would like to know how to reroot all the multiple loops(curls)?

Cabbage Patch Kid: How to clean darkened plastic face?

Ive had this doll since 1995 and the plastic face (it feels like hard plastic, not vinyl, so I’m assuming I got it before the switch) has darkened to a really muddy grey color over the cheeks and nose, but the rest of the face is fine. I really don’t want to replace the face, is there any way I can clean it?

1983 Talking Cabbage Patch Kid. In good shape, tried new batteries, nothing. Nothing obviously fried on boards. No dangling wires. I read somewhere that it is usually a mechanical "freeze up" problem with them, anyone ever had and resolved a similar issue? TIA
