Buick Regal: Removing the metal plate from rearview mirror in a 1999 Buick Regal?

How to remove the small metal plate from the rearview mirror on a 1999 Buick Regal. The mirror fell off the glass with the metal button anchored to the mirror. How do you release it so it can be re-glued to the windshield?

My car (1998 Buick regal GS 3.8 supercharged) smells like gas while driving using excessive gas went through two tanks of gas

In 4 days of going to work. I see visual sings of any leaks.car runs fine no problems and no codes are present.

Why my 1993 Buick regal custom want crank anymore..? It ran hot on me to the point the car automatically shut off while driving so I had to pull over _{let it cool den added water, stem was every where even smoking from the back of motor near passenger windshield after I put water into the car I tried cranking it and now it want crank} it turns over but still will not crank and it has gas in the car......
