Brother MFC-L8650CDW: Colour all over my sheets...

Hi all,

🇬🇧 This is what my printer does, colour all over.

I think it all started after printing on photo-paper a few years ago. First page was messy, rest was ok. I replaced all drums and cleaned the inside, but no effect. Some time ago it started printing all sheets like this. Any suggestions to fix this before I need to call in a professional?

🇳🇱 ik ben Nederlands, maar dacht eerst dat de hele site in het Engels was...

Thanks, Alex.

Brother MFC-L8650CDW: Ghosting, wrinkly papper and poor quality

Hello! I've a Brother MFC-L8650CDW and when I print the the left side of the paper is embossed from, what I think, the feeding wheel. As well as this the print has ghosting.

Is there a common part that I can change to fix this?

I contacted Brother support. They suggested to update the firmware on the printer... (what, how's that going to help?)

Brother MFC-L8650CDW: Brother MFC-L8650CDW not recognising toner cartridge

The printer was working perfectly until I replaced the set of colour toner cartridges. (I've been using compatibles, which have been working great).

When I inserted the replacements (same as previously used) the printer refused to recognise the Cyan cartridge (or any other cartridge) but the cartridge was recognised just fine in any other location. This indicates to me that the problem lies with the printer, not the cartridge.

Could this be a Brother ploy to get you to buy their vastly over-priced cartridges?

Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated, as I'm stuck without the printer.

Brother MFC-L8650CDW: Narrow shape (without color) on the paper. It's a mechanical problem

The Brother MFCL8690CDW printer imprints a narrow colorless shape, without color. It is not a problem of color but of some mechanical part that is probably out of place and imprints a shape on the sheet. the image is very clear about it
