Brother HL-5240: Paper feeder not picking up paper

I have plenty of paper in tray, but when I try to print something printer acts like it wants to work, but then stops and error message comes on, could my paper feeder be the problem?

All of the lights on my Brother HL2540 are blinking, the fan is running but the printer won't print.

Brother HL-5240: The printer prints blank paper

Brother HL-5240: Where can I buy a power supply for Brother HL-5240 Laser Printer?

Printer has been diagnosed as needing a new power supply module. Repair shop says Brother wants $300 for a new unit. I purchased the printer for $120 three years ago!

Brother HL-5240: What is this part that fell out of my printer?

I pulled an old Brother HL-5470DW printer from storage and when I turned it on, it had a "Rear Jam" error message. When I opened up the back, this piece fell out and I don't know where it goes. I imagine that putting this back where it belongs may help me solve the rear jam issue since there is no paper in the machine. Ideas?

Brother HL-5240: Paper Feeder picking up extra paper

The primary feeder is picking up an extra sheet of paper every time we print. Any advice? The issue could be environmental…we have two of these and both are doing this.

Brother HL-5240: Brother printer status monitor

I have a brother, HL – 3170CDW printer(I had to select the HL-5240 because it was the only choice I had). I have tried every which way to get the status monitor to work with no results. I double click the icon on the desktop, and a little busy wheel turns but nothing happens. I've tried to follow the instructions on the brother support page but got nowhere.

Is there someone out there who can give me a step-by-step procedure to get this thing working?
