Patagonia Bottoms: Best way to replace the elastic waistband in Patagonia Baggies shorts?

I have a pair of green Patagonia baggies that are about 10 years old — they’re super comfy, totally functional, and still look fantastic. Unfortunately, the elastic waistband is completely shot, so the drawstring is the only thing keeping them up. I’m not ready to retire them yet, so is it possible to replace the elastic in that waistband?

Patagonia Bottoms: How to repair a glued pocket going off on a Patagonia Alpine pants

Hello!

I have a Patagonia Alpine Pants that I love a lot but the pockets are going off. One part of pocket is glued to the pants (the part going off), the other part is stitchted.

The easier answer is perhaps to stitch the part going off but I would prefer to glue it. If Patagonia decided to glue it, there might be a reason.

Do you have any advice on the kind of glue I should use ?

Jeans: How can I remove extremely dry oil based house paint from fabric

So about several months ago I was painting my nieces room while I occupied their room my mother decided to take them to do some clothes shopping. Not completely thinking it over I left all the painting supplies in their rooms to finish up the project the following day. Since they wouldn't be sleeping in their rooms until paint was completely dry. Long story shorten, the following day I notice everything had been moved around. So as I start to clean before starting I realize everything was in odd places to cover up spilled paint throughout the carpet. It even happen to generously get on 2 pair's of their brand new jeans a black pair of skinnies and a dark pair of blue jeans. Knowing there just has to be a day to remove the oil based paint I refused to trash them what can i do.

Patagonia Bottoms: Repair or replace hook of hook-and-webbing adjustable belt

Hi,

I bought the Patagonia Dirt Craft Bike Shorts last year. They have a built-in adjustable belt / waistband with a hook on the end that slots into one of a range of loops as per the photo attached (from the page). The hook part of this piece of metal has broken off (it's turned from a "6" to a "o") on both sides, each time after a wash cycle despite following the instructions to wash cold/warm and tumble dry low.

I'm looking to repair or replace the hook pieces without having to send it in to Patagonia (but I will if I have to.) I am pretty ignorant to how I'd go about it. Any ideas?

I don't think any kind of glue or adhesive would hold the broken hook arms to the hook base (turning the "o" to a "6"), but maybe I'm wrong. I'm not sure where I'd get another hook piece like this. And if so, I'm not sure how I'd attach it, given that the "o" part is secured inside the strap.
