The zippers on the pockets of my softshell trousers which are glued not sewn onto the material of the trousers has become unstuck. I have tried three types of glue to reattach them but none of them have lasted. Also, the patch pocket on the side of the trousers has become unstuck from the trousers and is hanging off.

Hello!

I have a Patagonia Alpine Pants that I love a lot but the pockets are going off. One part of pocket is glued to the pants (the part going off), the other part is stitchted.

The easier answer is perhaps to stitch the part going off but I would prefer to glue it. If Patagonia decided to glue it, there might be a reason.

Do you have any advice on the kind of glue I should use ?

I have the chance to buy a Patagonia Fleetwith romper for 60% off. There is considerable damage to the material on one of the legs. It’s not a stain or bleaching, but a fading of the color in several spots. I don't know if it’s from sunlight or being clipped/clamped a certain way. I’m hesitant to purchase as Im not sure this is fixable?

Patagonia Bottoms: Repair or replace hook of hook-and-webbing adjustable belt

Hi,

I bought the Patagonia Dirt Craft Bike Shorts last year. They have a built-in adjustable belt / waistband with a hook on the end that slots into one of a range of loops as per the photo attached (from the page). The hook part of this piece of metal has broken off (it's turned from a "6" to a "o") on both sides, each time after a wash cycle despite following the instructions to wash cold/warm and tumble dry low.

I'm looking to repair or replace the hook pieces without having to send it in to Patagonia (but I will if I have to.) I am pretty ignorant to how I'd go about it. Any ideas?

I don't think any kind of glue or adhesive would hold the broken hook arms to the hook base (turning the "o" to a "6"), but maybe I'm wrong. I'm not sure where I'd get another hook piece like this. And if so, I'm not sure how I'd attach it, given that the "o" part is secured inside the strap.

I've had a pair of Levi Jeans for a couple years and they've finally started to fall apart. I've somehow managed to rip a giant hole in the back above both pockets, and I can't really wear them anymore because of it.

All of my Patagonia Trail Shorts develop holes in the crotch, usually within a year of purchase. This is after the liner disintegrates, usually within 6 months.

I love the trail shorts, they just don't last in the crotch. I usually just cut out the liner, but eventually the outer layer's crotch-area also develops large holes. Is there a way to patch these?
