BOSE Wave Music System CD Player FM AM Radio AWRCC1: How do I dislodge a cd from the player?

I have a cd stuck in my Bose CD player. The eject button on the remote will not dislodge it. I'd read, on U-Tube no less, a few years ago that shaking the player would work Didn't and seemed a rough solution.

My dog chewed the cord off of my Bose WaveRadio/CD Model AWRC-1P. It has a non-removable part that’s attached to the back of the radio that’s a part of the power cord. How can I replace the cord if it can’t be removed from its base? What are my options? Buy a whole new radio? I checked and it’s no longer under warranty.

Bose Wave Radio AWR1-1W: CD Player malfunction when first turned on

I have disassembled the unit so that I can observe the CD player in action. There were sounds prier to disassembly that were unexplained. In operation, with observation, the carriage for the laser moves with a threaded shaft. The purpose is to keep time with the advance of the recorded data. The whole mechanism is jumping back and forth erratically for a few seconds. Then briefly the CD will work correctly followed by more erratic movement. Left alone this jerking and momentary playing will continue for thirty to forty minutes. After this period the CD unit will play normally until the whole unit is turned off for several hours. Is this a circuit problem or a mechanical problem with the player itself? What would cause either problem. If it is mechanical, can the CD player be fixed or, if not can I buy a replacement? If it is a circuit problem, what approach to debug the circuit controlling the CD operation could you suggest?

The Bose is a Model AWRCC1 that plays one CD at a time, reducing the complexity of the player. Rather than a player that holds several disks and change disks internally.

BOSE Wave Music System CD Player FM AM Radio AWRCC1: Why wont my system do anything?

I have a bose sound system model awrcc1. The screen stays on and shows the time, but that's about it. When you press the aux button on the remote, the time gets brighter for a second and then goes normal again, the power button dosent do anything, and all the other buttons do the same thing, making the screen go black. If you press the am/fm button, sometimes it will display a frequency, then go Black for a second, then go back to the time. If you press any other buttons, it will just go Black for a second and then go back to the time.

Bose Wave Radio AWR1-1W: Display malfunction on clock radio

Hello… I have a Bose Wave AWR1-w1. The LED display is malfunctioning. When I first plug it in I can set the clock and turn on the radio I can set to a station. But fairly quickly the display gets all wonky, blinking all sorts of words and the numbers are not displaying correctly. The radio works fine but as I push any buttons the display led becomes unreadable to know what station it’s set at. Many words a lit up at once and blinking sometimes. Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem or replacement parts available to purchase?
