Bose SoundLink Mini: Replaced my battery, however, all LED lights are now illuminated

After some quick diagnostics resulting from a battery that would no longer charge (flashing red power LED) when charging adapter connected, I figured the battery was shot and would no longer charge as the voltage was likely below the system threshold.

After installing a new battery ordered from ifixit, all of the LED lights come on. When I plug in the power adapter, the battery does not appear to be charging and ll light remain illuminated until I remove the battery.

Hi,

Does anyone else have a Bose Soundlink III speaker? I have one and it randomly turns off for no apparent reason. I’ve seen others state they have this problem too but there doesn’t seem to be a repair or viable fix.

Usually after one shutoff, it won’t shut itself off again for a while, but it’s so annoying. Any solutions?

The silicone strap on my Bose Micro tore apart and won’t hold on to stuff anymore. The Bose hotline said they can’t help. I tried glue, doesn’t work. There’s got to be a way to replace the silicone latch?

Bose SoundLink III: Battery symbol flashing red when plugged in and wont charge

My Bose Soundlink III speakers were working perfectly a couple of days ago. Today I decided to use them but they were out of charge so I plugged them in using the provided charging plug, cable and socket as everytime before. They will not charge at all and the battery light flashes red constantly.

I have left them to charge for 5 hours but this did not work. I have since performed a restart by holding down the mute button for 10 seconds until all the symbols flashed white. Still nothing.

Does anyone know what is wrong with them? It is really annoying as they are only a couple of years old and have been treated really well. Plus they were working only a few days ago.

I bought through the Free Market (sorry) a Soundlink Color, FCC ID A94415859, IC ID 3232A-415859. The problem is that the power connector has broken inside the box. There is no way to open it, because the screw requires a special key that only Bose technicians have. Can you tell me where to find it and the name of this type of key?

Dropped my Bose mini soundlink 2 from about a foot off the ground and there's a rattling sound on some notes, especially at an increased volume. (Wasn't there before the drop) Is that a blown speaker? Repair advice?
