After some quick diagnostics resulting from a battery that would no longer charge (flashing red power LED) when charging adapter connected, I figured the battery was shot and would no longer charge as the voltage was likely below the system threshold.

After installing a new battery ordered from ifixit, all of the LED lights come on. When I plug in the power adapter, the battery does not appear to be charging and ll light remain illuminated until I remove the battery.

My Bose SoundLink mini is not turning on. when i connect to the charger the orange light indicates that's its charging. but when i turn off the charger and try to switch on my speaker, nothing happens. i also tried to reset my speaker, but no luck. what should i do ??

Now after 24 hours of charging, it doesnt switch on.

once i turn on the charger, these 3 white lights on my speaker turn on for a second and turn off.

after that it indicates red light even when the charger is turned on.

None of the replacement batteries offered on IFixit match what I have in my 1st Gen Soundlink Mini. The battery that is in my unit is Part Number 061384.

Does anyone know if the batteries offered on IFixit are interchangeable with the 061384?

Hi,

The charge plug was pushed inside the unit, I want to open it for trying to place it back in place.

I can't figure how to open the unit, please help.

I attached 2 pictures of the front and the back, I need to open the unit to fix the charge port...any idea how?

Changed the battery out as I was unable to reset or get it to power on. Red blinking light. New battery… same issue. So I think the speaker is just toast. Yes or no?

Pls help. Really love this speaker and I don't want to spend money I don't have.

Okay, all the ports except the ac one will do nothing and that one only brings up three white light which are aux, bluetooth, and mute. I have tried to reset by holding power and mute buttons and no luck. help me plz and thank you

After prolonged use, my mini soundlink will suddenly just go silent. It is always hooked up to its AC adaptor and at full charge. If I smack it, the sound instantly returns. I believe it to be a bad connection with the battery. If I pull the battery out and replace it, the sound won't cut out for a while longer. I don't want to drop the cash on a new battery if it's the connection between the speaker and the battery that is faulty.

Someone mistakenly plugged my Bose SoundLink Mini into a different adapter that had a similar plug but had a different (higher) amperage. I was not around but according to him, it was charging fine.

The next day I was not able to turn on my speaker, nor was I able to charge it in its proper adapter. It' just dead and I have tried leaving it for a few of days and then retried to charge it and turn it on but nothing worked.

I went into the Bose shop and they said it would cost £70 just to diagnose it, so I would prefer to try fix it myself. Are there any changes of fixing it or should I buy a new one?
