Bose SoundLink Mini: Bose SoundLink Mini 1st Gen - Original Battery# 061384 Availability

None of the replacement batteries offered on IFixit match what I have in my 1st Gen Soundlink Mini. The battery that is in my unit is Part Number 061384.

Does anyone know if the batteries offered on IFixit are interchangeable with the 061384?

Jawbone MINI JAMBOX: Music Plays, but No Voice or Sound Effects

My Mini Jambox will play music through bluetooth and it sounds perfectly fine. However, the sound effects when turning off an on, and the voice that speaks and tells how full the battery is no longer works. I saw some things online about a silent mode, but it seems like the instructions are for the regular Jambox, not the mini. Anyone have ideas?

I have a B&W A7 wireless speaker box that I can no longer power on.

My unit worked very well for a long time up until a few weeks ago when it stopped working. Apparently, this is a power supply problem because there is no current draw for the 120VAC (Totally open circuit measured in the power outlet).

I need to troubleshooting the power supply, but I need to open the unit case to do that and after a very detailed inspection I can not see how to open the unit to have access to circuits inside the A7 wireless speaker system.

So, I need some help to tell me how is the procedure to open the B&W A7 to have access to its power supply to repair it.

I have the Onn. Medium Party Speaker with LED Lighting. It’s supposed to be a wireless Bluetooth speaker. It is fully charged but won’t turn on unless it’s plugged in.

I tried to disassemble, I checked the battery, I checked the speakers, I tried to connect the phone, I pressed the pairing button for 5 seconds, there was no reaction

If you wait 10 seconds, then reboot and that's it

I have used the SoundLink II since inheriting it from my father in 2018. It works great at night to provide background white noise while we sleep. I had to charge it about every 3 days and charging it is the issue. Sometimes it:

a. Charges normally, blinking yellow till charged then constant green

b. Does not charge, blinks yellow, I press power it and stays at same charge level

c. Charges to a level (like 70%) and stops there (until powered off /on)

d. Usually I could just run it until it totally died from a dead battery and then it would charge to 100%

The LED light would always turn off during use (unless it was being charged or was totally run-down to the red mode). Regardless, I could use it, but I was hoping for a firmware fix.

All these scenarios stopped when I recently (2026) found there was a new firmware update and I updated it (to version xxx.14). Now it ALWAYS shows the yellow LED except for a momentary green after unplugging the charger. It has never again done the #a or #d scenario again, but it seems to fully charge because when you disconnect the charging (quick green flash and the yellow led stays on) it runs the battery down to zero pretty quickly (1 night of use maybe 1-1/2). I am going to be shipping it in (buying a replacement), but it would be nice if they would have fixed it.

This "question" is just for anyone that still has the speaker and sees issues or anyone that manages to permanently fix it. Otherwise, my advise is DONT update it to version xxxxx.14

So my question is will you please post a reply to this thread what you did to fix it (user), or what you could have done or will do to fix it (Bose)? I think it is a firmware issue (bug). The speaker still works good.

Logitech UE MegaBoom: UE Megaboom will not charge (light still flashing)

I haven't used the Megaboom for 6 months, took it out of storage and used it for the last couple of days while I was working outside (still had battery that lasted two days). Once it went flat, I plugged it in to charge overnight, the white light was flashing as normal. In the morning, I tried to turn it on and it said "Critical battery, please charge". While charging, if I try to turn it on, it just says "Charging, please wait". It still won't work no matter how long I leave it charging, though the white light is still flashing as normal. Is the battery toast? I did use it outside on a day with a lot of fog
