Blu Studio 5.5 S: Why won't my USB connection options appear in the status bar?

I connected my usb cable to my computer but the connection icon won't show up in the status bar and my phone won't show up on the computer, either. It stays in charge mode and I don't know how to access the usb connection options or what is wrong.

I've been using my BLU Studio 5.5 S for work, and instead of owning a separate work Phone I thought it would be good to use this phone because of it's dual SIM management. However, when I put the two SIM cards in, one from AT&T (my own provider) and one from Verizon (work provider). Only my SIM card is recognized and I can only receive calls from that service. Any idea what's going on here?

the camera will function if you are using whatsapp but you cant view the gallery. what can be done to correct the gallery software problem

no matter what size or brand of mini sd card i place in phone. the phones says it is damaged and needs to be formatted. the formatting doesn't change the message. i have no access to any sd memory.

In order for the touchscreen to register my taps, I have to tap hard or more than once. It has not been wet or dropped but did play a lot of spades and poker on it. Help!

My husband got me a Blu Studio XL2. I couldn't find the description so I picked the best one. My issue is it has been doing a system check or something, I'll have it in my pocket and every once and a while it will do this thing where it goes almost into a safe mode and runs tests on the phone, it tests the g axis, GPS, strobe light and anything else imaginable. I can't shut it off and I have to use the side vol buttons and power button to navigate as I can. Does anyone have any clue what is going on?
