Sony BDP-S3700: Sony BDP-S3700 keep restarting by itself

The Blu-ray player was working absolutely fine until I put in a disc, it showed me the disc language selection, I pressed the language I wanted and then it just blackout and said on the display view, 0:00:00/0:00:00, so I tried to turn it off, wasn't helpful and then the disc was stuck but then it kept restarting the player (as it was showing the start-up screen (Sony logo and the blu-ray logo) and then black screen and about 10 seconds later, no signal) and that is on repeat, so I took it to a hard reset, which leads me to eject the disc but the player keeps restarting.

Are there any ideas that I could try and get this fixed?

I tried checking the HMDI cable, connected perfectly fine and always works fine with the HMDI cable

Panasonic DP-UB150-K: Disc Spins No Power Up?

I have a recently purchased used Panasonic DP-UB150 4K BluRay player. Worked fine for about a month (2-3 hour run time) In the middle of watching a film, the screen became distorted and stopped working. Upon powering down I’ve found it will no power back up. It is receiving some kind of power because the disc drive does spin, and the device beeps when I plug it in but I cannot get the red power light to come on, nothing from the remote, and is not recognized on my TV. I’ve tried another power 12V cord, multi power downs etc. Anyone have any ideas?

Sony Blu-Ray Player: Sony BDV-E2100 - White LED on the front flashing stuck in BD/DVD mode

I have a sony BDV-E2100 home cinema, it recently stopped working. I’m not sure what caused the issue. After a year and a half of using this device it got stuck in ‘BT’ mode, no buttons worked not even on the remote, but the eject button did work but just opened the tray and did not close it. I left my device in a drawer somewhere and forgot about it for like a month, after that month i had the urge to fix it on my own, but when i plugged it in it started working again. But the same issue happened to me once again, i’ve left it plugged in, tried everything i tried before and nothing worked. Still no buttons work but the eject button. It now displays ‘BD/DVD’ and there is still a white LED blinking. plz help, i’ve searched multiple forums, there seems to be some people that have the same issue even on other sony blu-ray devices, and i found no fix :(

Blu-Ray Player: Tray in a Bluray player locks and refuses to open? (It's not the belt)

This Philips Bluray player started refusing to open its tray, so I opened it: it was the usual rubber belt issue described in many fix-it guides, so upon boiling the rubber piece, etc., etc., the player worked again.

(The issue was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcVn9NUt... )

But now, a while later, it stopped... and it refuses to go. The rubber belt is OK, but when the tray is closed and moves back, it locks itself in place and refuses to open.

As near as I can tell, it appears as if the closing tray moves too high at the end of its "return", if that makes any sense, and somehow gets blocked.

If I press it down, move the white plastic slider in its front, or operate the white plastic cog wheel underneath the tray to move it, it will start ejecting.

I don't know if this description makes much sense; I filmed the tray in the opened player, and what I do to open it once it "locks" upon being moved to the closed position. (I close it, it locks and can't be pulled out open again; I push the mechanism down, or move the white plastic slider - and it unlocks.)

https://streamable.com/h6dhb5

Can someone recognize anything familiar here? Any possibility of fixing this?

Samsung BD-H5100: Samsung BD-J5700 (not listed): How do I replace the motherboard?

Hello amazing people!

I have a Samsung Blu-ray player BD-J5700. A few months ago it went into it's boot cycle when I turned it on, and continued booting every few seconds. I tried the remote buttons, none had any effect. I tried the buttons on the machine also to no effect. I tried unplugging it and holding the power button to hard reset the machine per instructions I found online. The machine reboots whenever it's plugged in, and that's all it does. I want to try replacing the motherboard. Has anyone done that with one of these? I have never attempted to repair any electronics before, so please address me as a beginner. :-) Thank you!
