BlackBerry Priv: Wi-Fi Mac adress stuck at 02:00:00:00:00:00

Hello everyone,

For a few days now, i can't activate le wi-fi on my BlackBerry Priv. When I go in the option to activate the wi-fi, it keeps loading and it show no wi-fi in the list. After a few research, i've discover that the MAC address for the Wi-fi is stuck at 02:00:00:00:00:00.

Here is a liste of what i've tried to solve the problem (with no sucess):

1- Reboot the phone a few (lots of) time

2- Pull the sim card out, no wi-fi

3- Replace the sim card

4- Let the battery drain until the phone shut-off and charging it again

Hope someone will be able to help me , cause i kind of like this phone :(

Blackberry PRIV: Power button only works with pressure against back of phone.

Like the title says, if I press hard against the back cover of the phone directly below the power button the button will function normally, but the second I take pressure off it no longer works. It clicks as usual but does not turn the screen on or off. Given the Priv's nature as a slide phone, I worry it has something to do with the mechanism and that the repair may be intensive. Hopefully someone out there can help, not having a power button can be pretty annoying. I'm more than willing to give any other information that may be relevant.

Blackberry Priv: No Rotation, Sensors loose or broken? Which ones?

My phone fell down yesterday and afterwards I couldn't rotate it anymore.

Also when watching 360° Videos, I cannot look around anymore.

I installed an app to get sensor data, and it's not showing an accelerometer – and there should be a rotation sensor as well, right?

Did that chip unplug when the phone fell down, so that the device is not recognizing it anymore?

Maybe it's just broken?

How can I find out, and is it possible to replace that unit?

Thanks guys!

Blackberry PRIV: I need some tech support for 2 problems

I have 2 problems with my Priv.

1 - A few months ago my screen started to turn green in bands from bottom to top. Now it is all the way. It still works but in shades of green. However I noticed if the phone is warmer that 73 deg F it is all good.

Is it the screen or the driver electronics that is bad? A screen I can fix, but not a driver.

Note: I changed the battery a few months ago, but that was after the banding started and it didn’t seem to affect the banding either way. I did not even go near the screen connector.

2 - I have 2 mail accounts. My main account works OK, but the second started to tell me there was a problem with accessing it, and I had to verify the PW. I tried to verify but it keeps saying it cannot validate my settings or PW. But that account works on my PC no problem. I tried changing the PW same result. The other settings are OK and match my main account, but even trying to reset them results in the validity error.

My ISP (Rogers) was no help as they don’t support Blackberry, and I get zero support from Blackberry unless I pay. The old users group I was a member of seems to have disappeared.

Can you help or point me to who can help?
