The solution turned out to be a worn gear. Another issue discussed talks about the top jaw needing to be replaced for this problem. I can send a picture. Can you provide me with some insight, please. The Lopper is about 10 years old. The Lopper also has a loot of different screws and bolts that need to be removed. I you can suggest some tools from your shop, I will appreciate it.
