Beko Dryer: Dryer doesn't turn on, periodic clicking from panel after power outage

After a brief power outage, our dryer doesn't function at all (panel is unresponsive, no lights, etc.). There is just a periodic clicking noise coming from the beep speaker on the circuit board. Before the power outage, the dial had been left in an on position, and so I suspect a power surge to the board when the power returned.

I've ruled out an issue with the receptacle and thermal fuse. Power is clearly getting to the board. Inspecting the motor, I don't seem to see a belt switch to test, so I don't believe this model has one. Is there anything else I should assess? Can I somewhat safely assume the issue is with the circuit board?

Beko Dryer: Drying process interrupted after few minutes

Hello everyone,

my tumble dryer stops the process after about 1-2 minutes. If I start the process again (same program, no restart, just activate the program again after it’s finished) it runs as it is programmed, the clothes are dry.

Filter is clean, water tank empty

What could be the rain therefore?

Thanks in advance and BR

Chris
