Beats Studio First Generation: Beats Studio Wireless headphones not charging.

I finally found a charger for my headphones after years of not having one (got them from a friend who lost it) and when I plug them up to charge I get a blue light with a slight red flicker. After hours of being plugged up they haven’t charged at all. I want to look into getting a new battery for them but don’t know how to access where the battery is or what battery I’d be ordering as a replacement. Any help? It would be greatly appreciated as iPhones don’t have the same headphone jacks as I need and I really like these headphones.

Beats Studio First Generation: Mystery: Separating power button from bluetooth button possible?

First things first, I’m pretty sure these are knockoffs. Nonetheless, they sound pretty good, and I picked them up at Goodwill for a steal and love a challenge, so if someone is interested on taking on this electronics mystery with me I’d be incredibly grateful.

Context: I’ve tinkered on and off with consumer electronics for a while now, am okay at soldering and have an okay knowledge of how more basic circuits work. Otherwise, I'm pretty beginner but generally a quick learner and would be happy to try any of your suggestions.

The previous owner attempted to replace the AAA battery holding component with a rechargeable lithium ion battery - only problem was there was no way to charge the battery. Not a huge deal, fixed the headphones to run on AAAs again as they were originally intended.

That said, pressing and holding the power button powers the headphones on, but also is the Bluetooth connection button on the board (image at the imgur link below) there is an icon for both the connection functionality and the power around the same button. The headphones power on, work, and sound great when you're holding the button down, but once you let go they turn off. So, it’s a momentary switch with no latch to keep it held down - not ideal.

That said, I’ve tested jumping the switch so it gets constant power without holding the button down, and while the headphones power on, connect to my phone, and work, because it seems the power button and bluetooth button are one in the same, the headphones continue to look for Bluetooth devices and makes a periodic and infuriating beeping sound about every fifteen seconds.

Based on the pictures of the board below (pictured with, and without button attached) can anyone figure out what the problem might be? Or point me in the right direction for further tests to run?

Beats Studio First Generation: Power keeps turning off and on

For the last few days my headphones have been making a popping/crackling sound, and have been completely losing sound. At first I thought it was the jack, but then I noticed that the red power light was flickering off and on as it did this popping sounds. After seeing that I removed the batteries and tried adjusting the spring contacts, that didn’t help. I’ve noticed today that it turns off and on repeatedly if I move the speaker side with the batteries around. I can get them to stay on if i hold them a certain way. I’m guessing its a loose wiring causing this, but I wanted to make sure before taking them apart to see.

Beats Studio First Generation: Defective Beats caused brand new cable to corrupt 3 other devices

I had a defective pair of Beats headphones that I plugged a brand new Beats cable into, just to check and see if it was the cable and not the headphones. Well, the right side didn’t work, so I figured they just went bad. Then I plugged the same cable into my brand new Beats and the other end into my iPhone and only the right side worked. Today I bought another new cable and the right side still doesn’t work on the new Beats and then I was going to listen to my iPhone while I worked, using my earbuds. Well, now the right side of my earbuds don’t work and and the right side of the earbuds don’t work that I use on my MacBook Pro. The only thing that these 3 things have in common is the cable that was plugged into the defective Beats. Please, can anyone help?

Beats Studio First Generation: What is the size of the cables/wires inside the beats headphones?

One side of my beats cups plastic part had broken and I continued to use it until I replaced it, what I didn’t realize however was that the broken part was cutting into my cable so I need to replace the cable/wire inside the headphones however I cannot find it anywhere I go, the closes I came was to try and look up the specs of the headphones to find what the wiring size is and I couldn’t find anything.

Since you company has dealt with many of these headphones I was hoping you could help me with the sizing of the cables or let me know where I could buy them as I cant find them anywhere and I’ve looked on your website as well but I couldn’t find anything on the actual cables themselves either. I would appreciate any help I could get. Regards

2 nights ago I was using my studio wireless beats and accidentally left them on all night. They didn't die, but I continued to use them without charging. I then noticed the red light was on meaning it needed to be charged so I plugged it in. The beats wouldn't charge. I did all kinds of resets including just the power button and holding the power and mute button together for 2 minutes but it didn't work.
