Beats Studio 2.0: Beats studio 2.0 Headphones are not turning off

I have had my Studio Headphones for a long time, and they never had a problem. Today, I used them for 2 hours, they worked perfectly. They had low battery life so I plugged them in, but then after 30 minutes I noticed that red light was still on even when they were supposed to be charging (white lights). I unplugged them and the red light didn't go off. I tried to reset them but it wont work, and as far as I know the updater only works for the wireless version. There are red and white lights blinking, it's all crazy. Anyone have an idea on what the problem is?

Beats Studio 2.0: My Beats Studio 3 Wireless Won't Charge, Turn on and blinks

I’ve owned a pair of Beats Studio 3 Wireless headphones for about 8 months. I cycle with them a lot and also travel with them. Recently, I tried to turn on the beats but got the red blinking logo (I know it means the battery is a 0%), so I say to myself “no biggie, I must’ve left it on overnight and it needs to charge”. When I plug in the beats with the charging cable it came with the lights would flash as follows.

All five white charging lights and the power button light would pulse following a single red light with the power button light, this sequence would happen three times.

Next, a red light would flash three times.

After that, a single white light from the charging lights would fade in and out as long as the beats are connected to a power source.

If I try to turn the beats on while connected to the original charging cable the red light would flash three times before the white light continues to fade in and out.

Below is a list of things that I have already attempted.

Resetting the beats. The website said to hold down the power button and the volume buttons for 10 seconds. I’ve tried it without the power plugged in and there is no response from the lights. When I try it plugged in the beats would repeat the light sequence in the order on the list above.

Updating the firmware. I have downloaded the beats software thing from the site. and plugged the beats in. The beats would show up with the correct name I’ve assigned to it, and the battery percentage would show 0%. It would tell me that the beats are up to date, and give me the option of changing the name of the beats.

Letting it charge. I’ve left the beats on my countertop for about four days to charge. the only thing that would happen is the pulsating white light.

Plugging in the aux and connecting to a phone. There would be no response from this action whatsoever.

What do you guys think? I guess would be water damage from me sweating, but other than that I don’t know how to go about this situation. Is this possible to fix? (Before anyone says take it to apple that option will be my last resort, probably to buy a new one.) But these beats means a lot to me for personal reasons and I do not want to give up on them.

These are the black and gold beats studio 3 wireless headphones. There is no option for this electronic so I chose Beats studio 2 as the electronic option.

Beats Studio 2.0: Speaker crackles and pops

So this has nothing to do with the 3.5mm cable but the speaker itselft. My left speaker crackles and pops when i move around. Very annoying to listen to music and walk since music on left side stop and crackles. I went to a repair shop and they said if they try any harder they could break the whole thing! Don't know what to do now. Any suggestions? Would local apple shops be able to fix this? Or do i have to send it off for it to be repaired?

Beats Studio 2.0: Problem with LED/Charging and Audio Cord

The title might have thrown you guys off a bit but I got a problem with my Beats Studio 2.0 headphones. Basically when I plug in the charger the LED indicator does not show any lights. However if I leave the charger plugged in (still no LED lights at this point) and then plug in the audio cord into the beats headphones the LED indicator starts flashing, appearing as if the headphones are charging. However the headphones do not go past the first light. The first light is clearly there and all the lights seem to be flashing together, with the first light being the brightest and the rest of the lights fading gradually.

So if I plug in the charger and keep it plugged in and then plug in the Audio cable, the headphones will work as long as both the charger and audio cable remain plugged in.

Another weird thing is if I instead plug in the audio cable first and then the charger, the LED battery indicator light (first light only) will flash quickly and then the LED lights will not flash at all. On top of that the audio will not work either so I have to plug in the charger (keep it plugged in) and then plug in the audio cable, thought that was weird.

Anyhow do you guys know of a possible fix? I'd like to let you know that I have two pairs of Beats Studio 2.0 headphones. One of them has a broken headband and bracket but the audio works fine and then there's this one which has no broken parts besides the battery (idk where the battery would be in the Studio 2.0) I guess? Anyhow any help is appreciated.

Beats Studio 2.0: The white lights on my beats keep flashing from left to right?

So I got my beats brand new and they worked fine for the first day. On the second day, I used them for a bit and then whenever I switched songs, it would disconnect from Bluetooth from my iPhone. And no, there's no water damage. So I tried to update my beats using beats updater. It connected to my Mac but my update was "interrupted" and I couldn't get the headphones to connect to the computer again. I tried to reset my headphones but the white lights keep appearing to flash from left to right again and again. I tried using the optional phone microphone cable to listen to music and nothing would play. Hope it's not broken:( All I know is that the reason it kept disconnecting from my phone was because I didn't update the beats. But when I tried to, it won't connect to my Mac. The website said to reset them. And when I tried to reset it, it would reset and the white lights would keep flashing. They won't turn off. Should I let the battery drain out and try to turn it on again? Or is there another way? Thanks.

Beats Studio 2.0: Constantly need to be reset - cause?

I was looking at doing a battery replacement on a pair of Beats Studio 2.0 headphones that I picked up not working, but it looks like the problem is much more technical than a battery issue. It is as if the pair of headphones constantly "freezes", requiring a hard reset (ie. press and hold power for 7+ seconds), often which follows with a 1-5 second proper function before "freezing" again.

By simply pressing the power button or plugging/unplugging the headphone wire, it blinks a red LED 3 times, although this does not always happen.

The battery voltage is rated at 3.7v and is supplying over 4v at full charge (which is normal/healthy) - this is how I'm sure it's not a battery issue.

The length of time "working normally" before re-freezing seems to be larger when the headphones have not been used in a while... this may be a hint as to which part of the circuitry is malfunctioning

Apple (who owns Beats) quoted me on a repair for $215 CAD which seems high. I'm hoping that someone who has some circuit board repair/diagnostic skills will be able to solve this problem which seems to be plaguing many others.

Hi-res circuit board layout is available if the attached images end up getting scaled down. I'm not great at reading circuit boards, but it looks like there's likely more circuitry in the other side
