Beats Solo 3: Left Side Trouble Working With Wire ONLY

Hi everyone,

I always use the wire with my headphones and didn’t have trouble with it until yesterday. The right side still works perfectly, but the left will only work if the wire is shifted in a specific way. For example, if I turn my head the sound on the left side will start and stop working several times. It’s hard having to stand completely still for the sound to work and sometimes it’s difficult to get the wire in a position that will work. I’ve tried it without the wire, using bluetooth, and both sides work fine. I also use the mic on the wire for online school so I would prefer to fix the issue rather than use bluetooth. I’ve had these headphones since 2017.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The adjustable band on the right side of my Beats solo3 wireless headphones won’t slide back up. It seems to have overextended and could be caught on something? The audio and Bluetooth connection still works perfectly, just can’t get the side to slide back into place. Any ideas on what I can do to fix it??

Beats Solo 3: Power issues inc after a new battery

My daughters Beats Solo have all of a sudden developed a fault.

They work spot on using 3.5mm (wired) but when it comes to the wireless side, we struggle to even get them to power on.

Initial did the "reset" options for these headphones, so the power and down vol as well as the connect to charger and hold power for 20sec which most posts suggest.

Opened them up to replace the battery, as I know its another known issue, as I has a spare as was due to replace battery for my own Solo3. Before I did, I decided to pull and reconnect the battery. They would power up and could connect to them wirelessly (my iPhone wasn't connected originally but would show up, connect then they would go off), would flash up with ~70% battery.

Changed the battery and got the same, powered up, connected and died.

The power button appears to be unresponsive as well.

Any recommendations on what to follow up with trying to resolve next

Beats Solo 3: Why wont my Beats turn on?

I noticed that when I tilted my head to a certain angle while listening to something the left ear would stop playing sound, eventually the headphones just turned off. I thought the battery just ran out but when I plugged it in (to my computers usb port) it had 3/5 battery indicators lit up, but it still wouldn't turn on. My computer gave me a notification saying the device malfunctioned and it couldn't recognize it.

I've tried holding the power button for 10 seconds and holding both the power button and the pause button for 2 minutes, neither worked.

I downloaded the beats updater but that says they're perfectly fine. Is there any way to reset them or fix this in another way (other than holding the power button and pause button)?

EDIT: They work fine when plugged in with an aux cable.

Beats Solo 3: Why are my beats just flashing nor connecting to anything at all?

Hi, this might be a lot but the problem I'm facing is the fact that my beats (beats solo3 wireless) just stopped functioning.

They disconnected out of nowhere from my computer not even making the disconnected sound, then started giving me a light show so the battery indicators (all 5 were white) and power button was flashing in sync; then it would continue doing it and would swap to 1/5 battery indicators followed with the flashing power button then finally 1 red battery indicator with the same flashing power button.

So, I tried restarting/resetting the headphones about 4 times at separate times and still no dice. Then, I let them fully charge while off (so I thought they were) then reattempted just for it to connect to my laptop then immediately disconnect repeatedly while it's still flashing all 5 battery and power button lights.

Also, prior to all this about a week ago when I would charge them with my laptop USB it wouldn't fully charge and it would stay at 1 light and a half like it was normally charging but had no prior connection issues.

Another, thing is right when I power them on they go into what looks like the Bluetooth mode immediately that's the best way I can describe the "flashing" I've been mentioning and it just doesn't stop and I've tried pressing the power button to cancel it out but it keeps on with the flashing until eventually the lights just turn off.

I've had them for about 8 or so years with no problems whatsoever and I take great care of them I really haven't used them up until about 3 years ago though and now I use them quite often for the gym and just listening to music around the house or while doing every day activities but still i've taken great care of them like wiping them down when needed and moving quickly to clean them if they get wet what so ever.

Could someone please please help me out?? these headphones have helped me through a great deal of things so it would be greatly appreciated!

(I've been trying to work with these headphones since I posted this question and I found it connects to my TV now but not my laptop or phone even and thats with fully disconnecting my headphones from the bluetooth and redoing the process and the audio everything is good about it and its holding charge but I'm still not sure what's going on)
