Beats solo 2 wireless: Beats won't turn on

Whenever I try to turn on my beats solo 2 wireless, the lights just all flash white and followed by one red light, and then the same thing 2 more times. I am not trying to reset my beats when I am turning them on, and I tried charging my beats to full battery, and when I turn my beats on I know I am not holding the power button to long or to short. Apple won't take my headphones to repair since they are 5 days over the warranty... Please help.

Beats Solo 2 Wireless: How to clean/remove smell?

Something seems to have found its way into my headphones that has caused them so smell quite strong, and I'm not sure how to go about cleaning them in a way that can remove it.

The smell seems to be coming from where the speakers themselves are, so I'm really at a loss... It's nothing I can see, there's no discoloration, so it must have been some sort of liquid but everything seems to still be okay aside from their new smell.

(Think REALLY bad cologne)

Any suggestions/instructions?

Beats Solo 2 Wireless: Beats won't turn on unless charging

Having a really frustrating issue with my Beats Solo 2 wireless headphones. They will only turn on when they are being charged, as soon as I take them off charge, they won't turn on or connect. Randomly, yesterday they just started working again for a few hours (audio was absolutely fine) and have now stopped again.

I have tried resetting them and all combinations of holding power and volume buttons for both 10 seconds and 120 seconds and now change. I have ensured my firmware is up to date and replaced the battery but no joy.

Any ideas?

Beats Solo 2 Wireless: (While wired) Left side only working while pressing speaker button

Title basically says it all, if I press and hold the speaker button on the wire, I can hear the audio in both ears. Otherwise just the right side. I'm using it with an ipod classic so I can't do wireless. If it matters, these headphones used to be my dad's and he said he never got wireless to work anyway.

Edit: it's the right side that doesn't work properly, not the left (if it matters?)

Beats Solo 2 Wireless: Beats solo 3 battery won't last long

[Note: ifixit doesn’t have a category for Solo 3, so I had to chose Solo2]

I’ve had this pair for a couple years now, so when I started to notice the symptom of a charge not lasting as long as it once did, I immediately suspected the battery and replaced it. Now, with a fresh battery, I’ll charge it and still only get ~5 hours worth of use, because the battery will even drain while it is off.

I’ve also tried resetting them after I replaced the battery. Still no luck there. Anybody have a solution? Is it time to replace them?

Beats Solo 2 Wireless: No screw holding inner carapace

I am trying to repair a pair of beats solo 2, as no sound was coming out of the right side. I’ve seen that this is a common problem, but when I opened them up I noticed that it did not have a screw on the inner carapace underneath the tape. It is instead held together with what appears to be 2 white pieces with a slit in the middle. Does anybody know how to take that apart?

Beats Solo 2 Wireless: Right speaker has no sound ONLY when on bluetooth (audio jack problem)

Hi!

All of a sudden my right speaker on my headphones (Beats Solo 2 Wireless) stopped working when on bluetooth.

It works perfectly when connected via the cord to my phone (if I just connect the cord without my phone the sound cuts) OR if I jam some rolled up aluminum foil in there (if I jam it too deeply the sound cuts as well).

I opened up the left side and took a look at the audio input chip thingy, none of the wires seem damaged.

Is the issue fixable? The only sites that I see selling replacement audio input chips are in the US and it turns out to like $100 with delivery to Europe… If it’s that costly I may just buy new headphones (since I also need to replace the cushions).

Thanks in advance for any and all help! :)
