Beanie Baby: My girlfriends puppy got a hold of my O'rein bear :(

The arm is off, its been beheaded, and down an eye :( This is the only childhood relic i’ve held on to, my mom gave it to me when I was 5. I have the eye mostly intact, but I don’t know how to reattach it. I can hand sew some. I tried to stick it in through the front, but it doesn’t look right, stands out too much and doesn’t have the “furriness” around it. I can sew the head and arm just fine, but i’m clueless about reattaching the eye. Please help!
