BRCK v1: Why won't my BRCK v1 connect to the internet?

I am having issues with my device connecting to the internet and I can't figure out how to fix this issue.

The device will usually not turn on, but when the device does turn on, it does not hold a charge.

My BRCK is only lasting about an hour after the device is fully charged. How do I fix this?
