I have a cd stuck in my Bose CD player. The eject button on the remote will not dislodge it. I'd read, on U-Tube no less, a few years ago that shaking the player would work Didn't and seemed a rough solution.

We recently replaced the circuit board on our Bose AWRCC1 because the CD was skipping and freezing. When we connected everything again, it does not power on. Is there something that we need to "reset" in order for the unit to turn back on? Thanks for any help.

Main radio w/cd works fine. Responds to remote with all functions.

Have the 3cd multi-player attached since day 1. Has power. All bays accept cds. Will not respond to remote as to play or eject cd.

The CD played then would not eject. Now the CD will not play the CD and "CD has Stopped" is displayed!

I have a bose sound system model awrcc1. The screen stays on and shows the time, but that's about it. When you press the aux button on the remote, the time gets brighter for a second and then goes normal again, the power button dosent do anything, and all the other buttons do the same thing, making the screen go black. If you press the am/fm button, sometimes it will display a frequency, then go Black for a second, then go back to the time. If you press any other buttons, it will just go Black for a second and then go back to the time.

Wave music system respond to some remote signal such as volume, eject CD… but won’t respond to “radio am/fm” signal. Got a remote replacement from Amazon but the result was the same.

The display brightens then dims but doesn't always come on when remote is pressed. I've replaced battery in the remote but doesn't help. Seems to be an electrical issue inside the radio.

Hi all! I have the Wave IV (417788-WMS) but the CD drive has some issues. First it would try reading the disc for about 10s until it said unable to read. I realized that it wasn’t always spinning the disc. I opened it up and cleaned it a bunch, including the lens and rollers. For 1 minute, it actually worked and then suddenly stopped. I made the worst mistake of trying to open it up again and this time the floating upper disc (that magnetically holds the disc to the motorized spinner) came loose from jts holding mechanism. While trying to get it back in, I’ve bent the metal holding prongs and now I cant get the floating disc to stay up when no disc is inserted. Even when the metal disc clamps the CD down now, I hear the motor trying to spin, but the disc wont move

Im very stubborn — I have no desire to pay $104 for Bose to fix it. If I can’t fix it myself then I plan to part with it. Anyone have any suggestions for me or guidance on how this could be fixed?
