BLU Pure XL: Headphones not picking up phone calls

Why is it that music works fine over headset whether wired or Bluetooth but when I try to make a phone call headset doesn't pickup anymore, again whether wired or Bluetooth. This feature is important to me and it used to work all the time.

BLU Pure XL: Blu Life Mark not ringing.

I have just acquired a Blu Life Mark phone and it does not ring when I get a call.

I have been into settings but cannot find any reference to ring tones.

It is running Lollipop 5.1 and has been checked that it is up to date on OS.

Can anyone tell me how to set the ring tone please?

Sorry I have put Blu Pure XL at top but the Life Mark is not listed there

My phone is blocking number on it's on. I have tried looking for ways to unblock numbers and I cannot fine one. Please HELP! I have very important numbers that are blocked.
