temperature coolant gauge was working fine, then just started working sometimes. now it's not working at all!when i have driven for a while i notice erratic shifting in the gears & some loss of power. i am having troyuble trying to figure out the the cause behind it. please help!!

My Audi's service light has been on since I bought it a year ago. Short of taking it to the dealer, is there a way to turn it off?

It is ~2000 A4 wagon.

I have a 05 audi a4 1.8 Quattro and it doese’t start usually until the 3rd or 4th crank and when it does start it has no power from take off and i mean its scary to pull out on the main road from take off but does run a little better on the highway but still dont have the power it should. What could this be

Both the windscreen wipers and the windscreen washers activate automatically and do not respond to the indicator signals. I cannot find any switch to turn them off or stop the water spraying at the front or rear.

Hey guys quick story. So I currently have a 2001 audi a4 2.8. Recently the transmissions has been slipping due to a leak from a seal close to the torque converter. A mechanic is telling me that it'll apparently cost close to $3000 to get it fixed. So while driving with my brother we see another a4 (1.8) same year and everything the only other difference is that mine is a auto and this one is a manual. The owner even said hes just trying to get rid of it. The problem is that he said he lost the keys and doesnt know where it is, which is why the car is just sitting there. So what I want to know is, is there anyway i can get my car reprogrammed to work with his a4 instead of mine.

I just got a new key because I cannot find any of the other keys. I’ve done some research but all the solutions required at least the valet key. The key is cut but I still am trying to figure out how to program it into the car. Do you need a special device to do this?
