Asus Zenbook UX301LA: Fan constantly running at max speed

I have a problem with an ASUS Zenbook UX301LA where 10-20 minutes after I boot up the fan will start running at maximum speed regardless of temperature/CPU usage.

If I just start up and leave it idle the fan will kick in after a short time, the temperature sensors show core temp hovering around 32-38°C (90-100°F) and the CPU usage not rising above 2-5%. Once the fan is stuck on max even after a couple of hours idle it won't come down.

I've updated all drivers in device manager, updated the BIOS, downgraded the BIOS but to no effect (I have had other problems with the BIOS since upgrading to Windows 10, but I didn't have this problem for the first 4 months or so after the upgrade). I also tried to build this laptop fan control tool but didn't have any luck on Windows 10 (I know pretty much nothing about Windows system programming).

Any suggestions much appreciated :) It's not a huge problem but it would be nice to find a fix. The fact that the temperature sensors are showing sensible values makes me think it's not just a damaged/unplugged sensor.

Asus Zenbook UX301LA: Need to Replace Keyboard on Asus UX301LA laptop?

I am having issues with several of my keys on my keyboard suddenly not working. Have tried installing all new drivers, spent over an hour online w/ Asus Support re: same. They finally (unable to figure it out) said that I should replace the keyboard. I have obtained a brand new OEM keyboard from China and I now need some assistance on how to replace it. Can anyone suggest a resource or give me some direction?? I've tried looking on YOUTUBE but haven't found anything for this model Asus. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Asus Zenbook UX301LA: What is the connector type for the BIOS battery

My BIOS battery is dead. The outer package of the battery reads "KTS 3a CR1220W 3.0V", and the actual cell inside the package is a CR1220. I'd like to replace this battery. I can get the cell easily enough, but the cell is spot welded to two wires which are connected to a white plastic connector. I need to find out what connector that is.

Asus Zenbook UX301LA: UX301 - Am I able to clean fans and change battery by myself?

As the title says I want to give my Asus Ultrabook UX301 some love after 3 years of usage by cleaning the fans and replacing the battery

The Asus Servicehotline wasn't really helpful as they said "I don't know whether you can change battery and clean the fans. Just send it to us". But it's not an option for me to go several weeks without my laptop AND to pay hundreds for it.

That being said I can't find any answer by just googling. So. Is someone here who already did it and can explain whether it's possible and how?

Thanks in advance

The device thing is inaccurate; I actually have a zenbook flip UX360 but it wasn't on the menu.

So I have the weirdest problem. I was using ubuntu and my asus touchpad randomly froze. I tried booting up ubuntu on a bootable flash drive and the mouse started working again! That is, until I turned the laptop upside down and it froze. Like what in the world? I'm starting to think that this touchpad is a hardware problem now. It happened twice already on two separate reboots, and now the touchpad cursor is completely gone. The cursor also works with a mouse.
