<title><![CDATA[Asus X553MA-BPD07051: Why my computer is not turning on]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I have a laptop that suddenly stopped working no fan but the power light is on so i tried a different charger still.  i opened the computer removed the battery  made a hard reset still nothing the strange thing is when i put the ac cable the cpu begins to heat up even though nothing else is happening</p>

<title><![CDATA[Asus X553MA-BPD07051: Bios security lockout reset]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>Hello, so the story goes.</p>

<p>My brother had his laptop stollen, a few months later he got it back from the police after it was recovered. But ever since he hasn't been able to use it because it has a bio's security lock on it. It immediately requires a bios password on start up. Can not access anything else. Pressing &quot;Alt +R&quot; not &quot;Alt + home + R&quot; does nothing. Nor do holding &quot;ESC&quot; or &quot;F2&quot; on start up do anything.</p>

<p>It only present's this screen on booting up. Nothing else.</p>

<p>The laptop doesn't have a CMOS battery as part of the motherboard or otherwise.</p>

<p>Can someone please assist. I'm starting to run out of options here. I really don't want to have no choice but replace the motherboard</p>

<p>Hello, thanks for the help but unfortunately the motherboard looks completely different to the above mentioned video and article.</p>

<p>It has a integrated ram and looks like this.</p>
