Asus X550CA: Factory reset deleted all the original ASUS apps.

My laptop, which I've had for just over a year began to randomly freeze. I took it in to a third party and the guy reinstalled Windows 8. The problem is that I no longer have the original Asus apps such as 'Smart Gesture' or 'Instan On.' It's all gone. Is there a way to recover these apps?

Asus X550CA: Laptop crashes when plugged in

My laptop crashes when I plug in the charger but works without the charger just fine.

It takes some time after the charger is plugged in for it to crash and when it does, I turn it back on and the screen displays "Windows is resuming"

I have attempted to plug in a separate charger and the same result occurs

EDIT: The laptop works perfectly fine when plugged in and on safemode.

Asus X550CA: My laptop is overheating

Hello. I own an Asus R510DP for over 5 years, and a few months ago the laptop started to have extremely high temperatures (70-75 degrees). The laptop was purchased again. I have not given much interest in this aspect (temperature) but lately it has become a disturbing cooler that often runs at maximum speeds. I cleaned it (suctioned, blowing with a compressor), applied a new thermoconductor paste, I dismounted the side of the fan and cleaned it with a small brush. Often, especially when I study some PDF files or navigate to Google Chrome, the cooler starts running at high speed and the processor temperature reaches 66-70 degrees (for some simple actions). It slowly returns to 37-40 degrees but not for a long time. What could be the problem? We went into a couple of service but were not competent.

Asus X550CA: Why does my laptop keep crashing or its WiFi keep failing?

I purchased this laptop in 2013 September. Within 8 months the laptop began to crash very often (especially when moved) and the wifi would often show 'no connections' for no good reason (restarting would sometimes enable it to discover wifi networks again). I sent it to repair at ASUS warranty and when it came back, the harddisk and motherboard were both replaced. It worked fine for another year. And now (around 2015 September, so approximately 2 years after purchase) the laptop has again began to crash (again, most often when it is moved) and fail its wifi like it did the first year.

What could cause it to keep behaving like this, even after repair and replacement of most major parts? Do I repair my computer (warranty is over so has to be with my own money this time) or shall I just buy a new expensive laptop that would last me atleast 4-5 years without these problems>
