Asus X54C: What is the maximum amount of ram supported?

I own this laptop, which came modded with a 500 gb ssd (Which seems to be working fine) and 12 gb of ram. However, the laptop has been having issues with battery. The battery only lasts around 3 minutes, and it jumps from 90% to 0 in an instant. While I am not sure if this is just how old the battery is, or if the max supported power level was exceeded by both the ram and ssd. I am not sure of the brand of said ssd or ram, but the ram was added in addition to the original 4 gb ram with a 8 gb addition.

Asus x54c laptop restarts immediately after every shutdown. Windows is password protected. It restarts after shut down no matter if I am logged in or not. No battery installed(the battery is broken). Upgraded from win7x64 to win10x64. The problems still present. Looked in the BIOS and power settings. Shuts down completely only by unplugging or long push on the power button. How to fix?

Asus X54C: How do I change my touchpad settings?

I can't find my touchpad settings.

I read online I should be able to find this in control panel > hardware and sound > mouse > touchpad or device settings.

However I have very few tabs and these don't seem to exist.

so I went here to download the touchpad driver

http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/X54C/HelpD...

It's called synaptics

Now I have a few more tabs including device settings but I can't find anything relating to a touchpad.

This is my problem.

My right button beneath my touchpad is broken so I want to switch the left and right mouse click but unfortunately that also makes the doubletap on the touchpad a right mouse click. Obviously I need that to remain a left click.

So I guess I want to do something like

Switch left click to right click in mouse settings (can do)

map doubletap to the right click(functioning as the left click) (can't find this option)

So in the end I want to double tap for a left click and use the left button for a right click.

Any ideas?
