Asus X502C-RB01: keyboard won't work, so now I can't even get into the laptop.

Hi, can someone help me as I'm tearing my hair out. I reinstalled Windows 10 onto my laptop but the keyboard wouldn't work, I took it apart and took the ribbon off and back on, it worked! Then the touchpad wouldn't work. I tried everything, installing smart asus, etc, but nothing worked and nothing shows in device manager. I thought the ribbon looked scratched so i bought a new one, fitted it and still the touchpad won't work. I then installed the ATK package and Smart gesture but now the touchpad and the keyboard won't work. Nothing shows in device manager and even attaching a separate keyboard won't work, so now i can't even get into the laptop. Can someone please help? Thank you
