Asus Transformer T100: Possible to change the HDMI outlet?

Hi guys,

The micro HDMI on my Transformer book seems to be broken. Its no the lan and its not the screen, I ve tried it by using an other cable and an other screen.

I bought an USB adapter instead to connect it with the screen (HDMI to HDMI). Unfortunately its not fast enough for streaming. So my question is:

Is there a possibilty to change the micro HDMI port, or do I have to change the whole motherboard? If its the second it doesnt make any sence.

Hope to find some help here

Asus Transformer T100: Why is there no display on screen, only backlight?

Hello,

I have replaced my ASUS T100 screen. Now it shows no display when turning it on, only backlight. I have tried adjusting the Ribbon Flex Cable (lcd to mb) to no avail. It only adjusts the brightness of the backlight.

It cost a lot to purchase and replace the screen, lcd and motherboard (other issue), and now it won't even turn on.

Asus Transformer T100: Not powering on after charge

My T100TA has been habing trouble turning on. I popped the lid, unplugged the battery and left it unplugged for a good 45 seconds to a minute. Put it back together and I plugged it in overnight and now its white (leads me to believe the battery is ok). The white power LED still flashes 5 times even though, from what ive read, Ive performed a hardware reset. I will detail what Ive tried.

# Holding the power button down until white led flashes 5 times (camera side led turns on, no other response from device than that)

Holding power button for 10 seconds (similar to 1. but after the 10 second mark the camera led turns off)

Holding down “Windows Button" and power button simultaneously for 15 and 30 seconds (same result as 2. Tried holding them as if normal power on[2 or 3 seconds])

Holding the volume up/down button and power button simultaneously (Same result as 1. Tried it for 15-30 seconds but results in the same reaction as 2.)

Holding power button for over a minute (Same result as 2.)

Also tried all the methods listed above with the power connector plugged in. I also tried them with the battery unplugged before I charged it.

Asus Transformer T100: Keyboard Bug After Pressing Either CTRL, ALT or SHIFT key

I’m having this problem with my Asus Transformer T100TAM model.

Everytime i press either the CTRL, ALT or SHIFT key, the whole keyboard stops working. Oddly, the trackpad is still usable. A quick detachment of the tablet from the dock and putting it back again solves the problem, but if either one of the keys is pressed again, it goes back to not working.

I’ve checked all settings and turned off all sticky key options. I’ve removed and reinstalled the HID keyboard drivers, but still the same.

Anyone knows how to fix this? Do i need to update my windows to fix this bug or there’s another workaround for this?
