Asus Transformer Pad TF300: cracked screen not responding to touch.

The Glass on my screen cracked, at the same time half of the screen doesn't respond to touch. does that mean I have to replace both the glass and Digitizer?

My son's Asus T300 had a cracked screen and wasn't responding well to touch. So I purchased the replacement parts. I replaced the parts. I put the think ribbon back the one next to it with the tiny wires connected. But touch doesn't seem to work.

is there anything else I can try? Is there a software thing I have to do in order to get it to recognize the new hardware?

Asus Transformer Pad TF300: I can't charge my tablet

Hi there,

I can't charge my tablet and I think it's something to do with the actual tablet, not the charger. I have tried a different charger and still nothing.

The only way I saw my tablet was charging when I have connected it to my laptop with USB, but it was really really slow and I have to just leave it. If I will be using the tablet while charging with a laptop the battery % goes down. Also, it is not showing me that Android "storm" icon when it's charging it.

Not sure what to do with that. Any ideas?

My transformer pad is connected but i cant use the keyboard because it won't pop up i can only use the 'e' and 'l'key. Also sometimes when i connect the keyboard dock the screen freezes and shuts off and wont turn back on again.

Asus Transformer Pad TF300: Main charging ports have failed

After some time mine has stopped recharging and has gone flat.

The charger and cable seems fine when checking with a multimeter

When connected with the dock/keyboard it does not charge

When not connected with the dock/keyboard it does not charge

At no time do I recall any sign or smell of burning

How can I charge my TF-300 for further investigation into fixing?

Is there any way to charge my TF-300 through the USB-1 port? Like I have seen other devices charging through a USB-3 port?

Asus tf300t tablet power button flashes red light twice when plugged in to charge. It will not charge. I can't turn it on at all. I did try to charge when docked into the keyboard but all it charges is the keyboard.

my tranformer pad was working just fine 2 days ago . and yesterday i was ready to use it when i started putting in my password like normal but it kept saying it was wrong , i pressed each button individully but i couldn'd press the 0 i didnt think much of it then another key this time the p then i checked the rest and " ; " didnt work. my first reaction was restart the computer but i soon realized my keyboard stopped working for no reason at all. the rest of the dock works fine, maybe something came loose? i would really apreciate any and every kind of help that you could offer me. thank you so much.

Asus Transformer T300T

There has been no damage to the tablet. It wasn't dropped or hasn't been wet, but the screen flickers, programs aren't opening or loading correctly. The screen starts scrolling to other screens or the keyboard function opens and letter start typing. Besides being creepy, it's 100% not functional.

I have tablet asus tf 300

I charge the tablet until the LED turns green, press the power key and the tablet does not open. I replaced the battery and the problem was not resolved. Has anyone encountered such a problem and what is the solution ??

Asus Transformer Pad TF300: Hairline screen fracture and now my sound and touchscreen to fail

I dropped my tablet about one foot and it landed on a table. A small hairline fracture formed in the top left corner, over the asus symbol. The up/down volume buttons are a bit smashed in but they still press. However, the entire touch screen doesn't work and the sound doesn't either. I have tried plugging in headphones and it still doesn't work. I was wondering if there is anyway to save the computer without replacing it.

Asus Transformer Pad TF300: replaced digitizer stops working

i replaced both lcd and digitizer in my tf300. when i booted back up it works fine for a while. then the digitizer stops working. att first i thought maybe the whole pad froze, but i can use the pad with the mouse on the docking thing.. reboot it and it works fine again for a while. anyone have any ideas ?? i have reset the pad to factory + updated it and rechecked digitizer connectors and cabel.

my screen doesn't recognize the docking station. I updated a couple of things and it came back for a short time now it has gone again. have to put charger into base of screen to keep it charged. only one battery is showing in the bottom corner.

I try to found a touchsreen, i find it. I follow a tutorial to open and put the new one on it. But the touchscreen doesn't work and i don't understand why. It's the good number of touchscreen and i replace all the cable on the right place. I check twice...

Hi my Asus transformer motherboard has died so looking at replacing it with a 16gb instead of the original 32gb, is this possible or does it need to be the same, don't really want to spend any more money than I have to and with the external storage don't feel I need the 32gb.
