Asus MeMO Pad 10: Asus MeMO Pad 10 won't power on?

I have a MeMo tablet that won't turn on. It does charge (the LED will turn green after awhile). I've tried all the various button-holding suggestions, poking the reset button, opening it up and leaving the battery unplugged for a time, and even swapping the battery with a known good one (I have two of these), but nothing has made any difference. The device was working fine, and then suddenly just stopped. It was not dropped or bumped recently. Any suggestions?

Asus MeMO Pad 10: Is my LCD toast?

I replaced the touch pad as it was cracked and no longer worked. When I powered on the tablet I am only getting white vertical lines on the screen covering about 80%of the screen. both sides are black. Before I buy any other pieces how do I know that it is the LCD that's ruined and not the connector? Nothing I do makes the screen look any different.

Asus MeMO Pad 10: How do I stop the flickering on my MeMO Pad?

As suggested I tried turning up the brightness and turned off the power saving functions as well as any apps that would affect the brightness. They did not work. I also wiped the tablet to factory and reinstalled my apps, as a new device. That also did not work. The screen flickering never completely goes blank and the lines seem to only go horizontally. I am thinking that there might be a connection that is coming apart inside. This would be my first time trying to take a tablet apart and I am a little nervous but want to learn, any tips would be appreciated.
