Asus Laptop F553M: battery not charging (green and orange led light flashing)

My Asus F551m has a battery problem, can't recharge anymore, flashes green and orange led when on charger at off state. when on, it shows battery charging but symbol but always at 0% charge, so I concluded that the battery is dead and I decided to buy a compatible battery for replacement. the closer I could get in term of voltage rating is 14.4 v/ 2200mAh/32Wh but the battery to be replaced is rated 11.25v/2850mAh/33Wh.

can I use the 14.4v battery to replace the 11.25v? or is there a way apart of solving this problem of battery not charging (green and orange led light flashing) from replacing the battery?

Asus Laptop F553M: Why won't my computer start properly?

I have an ASUS TUF 505dt laptop and when attempting to turn it on, the keyboard lights turn on, the power button light turns on, and the indictor lights work properly. No fans or other components the normally make noise are turning on. It stays completely silent. The screen also remains completely off. No dim light and an external monitor remains black also. I tested the battery and charger with the static test and they are working properly. I also tested the ram with a different laptop and the ram works. I also took out the circle motherboard battery for about 15-20 minutes and put it back in. That also didn't work. Any ideas?

Asus Laptop F553M: Display black but showing a sliver

My display is mostly black and unresponsive, except for a small band at the top that works. I can see the mouse when it’s in that area of the display, but nowhere else. All the repair guides that I’ve seen are about completely back displays. Should I follow those, or is this a different kind of problem?

Asus Laptop F553M: help for reverse voltaged system.

Hi All, my first post here.

The long story is this, my grand neice (14) borrowed my laptop to do some homework, she hadnt finished by the time she went home so she took it with her, the brick charger died so she returned it with another charger plus the original, she told me the charger had “smoked” around 10 pm so she ran it on battery for a couple of hours. new charger was the same voltage and current so i plugged it in to recharge it, idiot me didnt check the polarity. and of course when i plugged in it promptly blew the protection circuit.

i know the rest of the system still functions as i ran it on battery for 10 minutes till it automatically shut down with low battery warning.

i am 66 years old and have been into electronics/computers and radio for over 40 years.i can replace what needs replacing BUT, to do this i need a circuit diagram to get some idea of where to find what needs replacing. PLEASE can anyone help?
