I just recently installed a SSD in my laptop and there's this bugging me all of a sudden. The USB port near the audio jack has this problem and it wont let me plug in USB devices let it be Hard drives or Printer cables. How do I fix this? :<

I have a faulty input jack for my ac adaptor.(It is the jack on the laptop). It is loose, and I suspect it may have broken solder joints. I would like to test that theory, before replacing the jack itself. Does this sound feasible? I plan on using the dis-assembly guide, available on your website.

I have new laptop i5-556UA

I got wireless Srocker mouse

windows 10 home

plugged into USB - device manager finds it, says it working fine, even went to see about updating driver and says I have updated driver

however it will not function - only touchpad mouse works (even tried fn f9 to turn off touchpad)

ASUS K501U: Laptop isn't turning on neither charging

Hi, so I have this ASUS K501U laptop, that supposedly received liquid damage. Looking at the laptops insides, I could barely see liquid damage and even then not on the mainboard (both sides), only on the little board with LEDs at the bottom.

The issue is that laptop doesn't want to turn on neither charge (LEDs aren't lighting up and measuring with the multimeter doesn't show that it is charging on the battery, unless I measured wrong). I know the charger is good, because it does work fine on another laptop and I know the power jack is most likely fine because it receives full 19V without jumping around or etc.

I tried doing stuff like disconnecting the battery and holding the power button for about 30 s. but it did not help. What else I could try to revive this laptop or is it just a lost cause?

Hi. I have an Asus K501 laptop. The fan has recently starting spinning constantly. I have checked for any dirt or dust but it is clean. Could it be the fan itself or is it more likely a motherboard issue?. Laptop is not getting hot or anything. Thanks in advance. Gary.

So, i have a asus laptop or notebook, idk the diff, i think it is a k52j. I got a problem, some time ago i moved my laptop and i heard a small crack, after like 2-3 days my laptop started black screening randomly. I tried to reinstall my windows, restart my graphics card (WIN + SHIFT + CTRL + B) and it's the same, the only way that i can see my screen it's by pressing FN + F7 and after 2-3 seconds it turns black again, i have to say that the laptop it's working and on screen i see like 5% brightness but i cant use it for anything tho. I have a monitor that i use and it works without any problems, you think i can fix it or something? Also i tried to make the brightness low like 10%-20% and it worked for a day...now it is black again
