Asus K56CM: How to reinstall windows when I cant load windows setup?

Windows won't work. I only see a black screen with a mouse cursor, and I can't even install Windows. When Windows setup loads, I see the same $@$* black screen and mouse cursor, and shift F8 (or on Asus F9) doesn't open an advanced startup options menu! So, I can't do a system recovery or turn the computer on in safe mode... What should I do?

Hi

I upgraded SSD for my laptop (Asus K46CM) using caddy bay.

SSD is installed on caddy bay at location of DVD slot. Old HDD still stay at original HDD slot. SSD for Windows and HDD for Data store.

At first boot, PC recognized all device SSD and HDD.

I’ve installed Windows and it boot up normally. But after restart, my PC can not detect SSD at DVD slot and of course, PC can not boot to windows.

I’ve checked on BIOS at that time and found that PC recognize only old HDD.

I tried to shutdown PC by pressing power button and turn on. It work normally.

PC booted into Windows and I can access 2 disks without problem.

Summary:

Shutdown and turn on ==> Work properly.

Can someone help me to fix this issue ?

Asus K56CM: Computer suddenly turning slow

I could not find the model list for my laptop, but I have an Asus k501U

- Intel core i7 6500U

- 8GB RAM

- 1TB HDD + 128G SSD

- Intel Integrated graphics + Geforce FTX 950M

I was playing league during the night in a hot room, so my laptop has reached a pretty high temperature. However, my game was smooth and laptop was still running smoothly. After I shut it down for the night and boot it up the next morning, the entire laptop turns extremely slow and freezing. Anything I try to open will take minimum 10 minutes and become unresponsive. I downloaded Throttlestop and noticed I have the "thermal" limit under CPU and GPU and ProcHot was activated. I unchecked the Prochot box and cleaned my laptop's fan, but that hasn't made anything faster. I have also ran multiple Malwarebytes and found nothing and did a CCleaner, but still the same result.

Please help, how does my laptop suddenly turn permanently slow like this and how do I go back to its original speed. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
