Asus Eee PC 1000HE: Why won't my netbook power on?

I leave the netbook plugged in overnight but it won't turn on in the morning. How do I fix this issue?

It tries to start windows normally but goes right back to start up page I tried starting it every way it shows

Hello:

Does anyone have the spec for the USB ports on the Asus EEE 1000HE motherboard?

At least two of the three ports have started to fail, one intermittently and the other due to the plastic tab located behind (and supporting) the contacts being cracked.

I would not want to take it apart before having the replacement part at hand.
