Asus EeeBook X205TA: How do I reset my BIOS password on newer ASUS laptops?

I was playing around with the BIOS settings and somehow I fat fingered the password not once, but twice.. and now I'm locked out of the computer entirely. I was trying to figure out what the difference was between the "User" password, and the "Administrator" password - and the difference is that "User" won't allow the system to boot at all without that password.

I've tried pulling the main power from the tiny little motherboard, and this appears to make no difference with these newer laptops which don't have specific bios batteries to remove. Any suggestions?

Asus EeeBook X205TA: Computer continuously restarts when connected to WiFi.

I can only use my computer when I have the wifi turned off. When it's turned on and I'm connected to a network, the screen goes black for a few seconds and then takes me back to the log in screen. It'll stay on for maybe three seconds top, and then go black again and repeat the process. My computer is very new since I only got it about two weeks ago and this problem first showed up this week. At first it'd just take a few attempts at logging in before it'd work but now it doesn't work at all (unless the wifi is off, of course). All I've tried is restarting it and leaving it off for a day. Any suggestions?

It didn't experience any trauma, I put it down gently last night and nothing happened, so I have no idea why it's acting like this, but I do know that the screen is broken. Where can I get it fixed?
Asus EeeBook X205TA: Wifi very weak, but antenna correctly attached

Hi guys and gals and non-binary folk!

I got my hands on an Asus x205ta (used, off a local eBay type site) and managed to get it working just fine.

The issue I noted was that the wifi range was appalling. I took it apart, and inspected the cable connecting to the wifi chip - I unseated and then re-seated it carefully, making sure it clicked right.

Once I removed the cable, the connectivity was lost entirely. Once I placed it back, it went up to one bar (for comparison, I have the same type of notebook right next to this one, showing full strength on the home network). The router in this scenario is about 3 feet (one meter) away and unobstructed.

I then took it apart, and removed the screen bezel to be able to follow the antenna cable, but it all seemed to be well seated an connected. There were no visible sign of damage on the cable itself, nor on the antenna connection.

I also tried treating this as a potential software issue and downloaded the drivers from the Asus site for the correct Win version (win10 32bit).

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks!

Asus EeeBook X205TA: EeeBook wont boot, not even to BIOS

My EeBook turns on (the screen backlight is visible) but everything else remains black. There is no bootscreen and no BIOS. Multiple attempts at restarting or holding the power button down for longer periods of time give no reliable results.

Trying to enter BIOS with F2 (and many other buttons includings Esc, F8, F10, F11, F12) all yield no results.

Sporadically after many attempts the Laptop does sometimes turn on.

Even though this problem occurs both when plugged in and out, my theory is that this is related to a dying battery.

Any solutions or similar experiences?

Asus EeeBook X205TA: Laptop on but screen is black

The light on the side is on and the laptop charges my phone when I plug it into the USB port, so I know the laptop's on, but nothing is showing up on the screen.
