Asus Chromebook: Asus cm30 open up properly for battery replacement help nowhere found

first my device doesn't even show up so I used a model which might also not have screws but its not a surface; these 2 in 1 laptop tablet hybrids now days tend to be screwless - without screws similar to todays phones. but I'd don't think you heat the LCD I think you pry the screen and case apart but Ive not been able to verify that is the proper beginning of this needed repair which is something is wrong with the battery it only powers on with the power adapter plugged in, as soon as I pull it it is off, plug it back in and immediately powers back on. power button seems fine. please help! I need to know the best corner to start with or whatever to prevent cracking.

Asus Chromebook: Asus CX1500CK How do you disable the hardware write protection?

I've looked everywhere for answers. I've searched forums, looked for teardowns, and I've found nothing on where it is. Here's what I do know:

It isn't a screw you have to remove (that's an old method)

it isn't disabled by disconnecting the battery

it should be a unpopulated connector that needs to be jumped

it's a jasperlake chipset

Asus Chromebook Flip C302CA: Laptop will not charge, blinking lights

So this is probably my fault for not using the Chromebook in months, but whenever I do try and charge it to use, it will blink a reddish-orange light and refuse to turn on. I hold down the refresh button, power, escape key, any combination, and it turns either green then green-orange, or just blinks greenish-orange and back to the reddish-orange. Both results do not result in the laptop turning on.

The charging cords I use both work, as I use them for other devices, and there's no issues with the adapter or outlet that the cords are plugged into. I know that the machine is charging, it just doesn't seem to be keeping that charge. This started... a very long while ago, it's just now that I'm concerned.

I would provide pictures of the lights, but unfortunately my phone is broken beyond repair and I'm waiting on the trade-in.

I suspect there's something wrong with the battery, but I currently have no way of cracking it open and seeing what's wrong, if anything. From what I can see, everything works fine otherwise. This has been happening for a long while, and I'm at my wits end. Any ideas on what went wrong?

Asus Chromebook Flip C302CA: faulty charging and random restart; tried just about everything

My Asus Flip C302CA Chromebook was old enough that I decided to replace the battery when no other solution worked. That went successfully thanks to ifixit kit and instructions. I thought I had the problem solved, but now it's back. Here's what happens. I plug the charger cable in (I've used two different OEM charging cables/adapters and tried both charging ports multiple times). The amber light goes on solid, as it should. But, after a few minutes, it goes off. The unit has shut itself down, and it has not continued to charge. As I said, I've replaced the battery, hard-reset it a hundred times, removed browser extensions, tried different power outlets, tried a different charger cable/adapter (OEM), tried the charging ports on both sides of the unit. I also tried charging it ina better-ventilated spot to see if it was overheating. Nothing works. I'm about to the point of recycling it with a brand-new battery in it which would suck.

I am the local IT tech for my company and I received one of our Chromebooks back from an employee who dropped it on the upper left corner where the power button and adapters are. The model is an Asus Chromebook FLip C213SA and it is out of warranty. Since it’s out of warranty I opened it up & the power button piece on the motherboard is loose. Is this something that can easily be fixed or would it be possible or worth the time? Tia.
