Astro A50: Volume Wheel: Inconsistency in Volume Control

Can't consistently get the right amount a volume due to a problem with the volume wheel on the a50. Quarter of a revolution upward, and the volume goes to the max. 5-10 revolutions downward to get the volume lowered. What to do to get it working properly again? it's annoying.

Astro A50 2016: Broken Microphone - Loses Resistance and Mute Capabilities

A guide on how to repair the microphone would be awesome if it's possible. This is literally the only issue I'm having with this headset and it will only continue to happen as a replace them. The mic lost resistance and would not stay in place. Then a few months later the mic is unable to be muted and it will do 360s instead of the 90 degree movement it was supposed to keep. Astro wants me to send it in, or I could just swap it at Best Buy, but I would love to know what is causing this issue and maybe it will encourage Astro to apply a fix to the issue. Apparently it was an issue with their Gen1 and Gen2 (without Base Stations), but I obviously have this issue along with friends of mine that have the same headset in the Gen3 model that Astro claims the problem doesn't exist anymore. This is specifically for the Gen3 model with the Base Station. Astro A50.

My A50's mic is broken. The mic is either all the way up, or all the way down. I can also just make it go full circle with no effort.

Astro A40 TR Plus Mixamp M80: How can I fix the wire that connects to the M80 mixamp

The microphone and one of the speakers to my Astro A40 headset have stop functioning. If the wire attached to the M80 mixamp is angled and pushed just right, both components will start to work. I suspect that the wires enabling the speaker and mic to work have somehow loss connection due tugs on the cord. I think if the coppers wires were reconnected that the headset would start functioning normal again. I need information and a video on how to disassemble the M80 mixamp for the xbox one to expose these wires, but without harming the casing.

Astro A10 Gen2: Help:How to open housing (preferably non-destructively)

The screws inside the housing came off and it was rattling around inside.

I chose these because I heard they were sturdy, but I didn't expect them to break from the inside.

I'm sure I could fix it easily if I could open it, but I don't want to remove the adhesive from the earpads if at all possible(just because it's a pain to reattach them).

Astro A50: New USB breakout wiring?

So the USB port on this pair of Astro A50s is totally botched, can't find a replacement part for it. I decided to try a breakout board, but I don't know what the yellow wire is for, on the original USB board is says it's "Wire 1" I got the unit charging by hooking up the USB+ to VCC and USB- to Ground.

I don't think it's related to the unit not syncing to the base station, but id like to know what the purpose of it is.
