My headset fell from my chair yesterday and the hinges of the right side speaker broke and the small wires were disconnected. Is there any way i can fix those wires and the broken hinges?

Hi!

So I’ve ruled out the fact that it could be the cable and or the TR device as I’ve tested it on a mobile device as well as my PC whether it be direct or through the mixamp. I know it’s 100% the headset as if I wiggle around the right ear cup and slide it up and down to get to a certain spot the sound will start playing but as soon as I move it a tiny bit it will distort and or stop. I was wondering what the issue could be and if it was possible for a rookie like myself to repair it as I don’t want to buy a new headset, thanks :)

@oldturkey03 one of the screws was too threaded to the point I had to pry it open but this is what the insides look like. I hope these pictures are good enough

Astro A40 TR: Sound is severely distorted

One day I was playing rust, and then I looked left at my dog, and it tugged on the wire a little bit and then it sounded as if my astros were half plugged in, they were fully plugged in. I tried unplugging them or using them in a different device, but nothing worked. I could hear a little bit of sound, but it was severely muffled and distorted. Please help.

Astro A40 TR: Headsets broken, only works when cable is pushed in hard.

Headset gets no volume or input from the controller or something because it only works when I push the cable into the headset extra hard and hold it there. Not sure if this is common but thats how Id describe it.

Astro A40 TR: Headset chat issue noises

Short story.. the headset after seven days brand new started making buzzing noises when comes to using chat but when mute nothing happens some sort issue when with headset piece it self mixamp seemed to work as I used old astros on new headset mixamp pro tr and no buzzin noises any way pisible to fix or wats need to be replace help pls... :(

Ok so it was one day where I just got the headphones and it started making a noise like tv static sound when they're is nothing on it and when I start moving the joystick to move it starts doing popping noises when a noise appears I been frustrated because I just got this a month ago and it's already doing that plz help.

Periodically the sound cuts out for about 2-3 seconds then comes back, during that time the video (be it game or Netflix) is completely unaffected.

Also this never happens when the sound is coming out my speakers. On a side note when the sound cut out the mic on the headset still works perfectly fine and anyone can hear me.

Astro A40 TR: My jackstick is not working, can I replace it?

the sound will keep cutting out as i turn or move the jackstick, it is only in 1 or 2 positions i can hear fully. is there any way i can replace the jackstick or get a new cable as i dont know witch of the 2 is broken?

Hey mate. My left headphone jack is broken as the plastic bit on the inside has broken off and raddles around. Therefore the mic does not stay in, it just pops out. Can I buy and replace this piece of plastic?

2nd. My right side stays in perfectly but sometimes has static. Works 100% of the time while I’m pushing it in so it just seems it needs force? Whenever I let go it just goes back to static.

Not a mic problem as I’ve tried another, it’s the Jacks. Thanks.

i think its not blown i think the Sautering must be loose because if i push on the outside of it i hear sound in the speaker again clearly untill i let go. then i opened it up was seeing which sauter was loose then lost all sound in the right speaker could someone help me out on which wire it could be?

the middle screw on the adjustment bar next to the two smaller screws is missing it connects the bar to the ear cuffs i have the washers pls help and tell me what screw it is.
