Archos Tablet: My tablet just went dead

I have archos 7 home tablet, O.S android 2.1 (Eclair), I was trying to update the firmware but all of a sudden it went dead and I can't get it to work again if possible any one can help.

i am looking to download the original firmware that came with my archos 5 when i purchased it years ago. anyone by any chance know where i can get a copy to download? i have googled so many sites and all they have is the new firmware, which i dislike actually.

Archos Tablet: I broke screen how to replace?

I have a Archos 50d 4G Helium smartphones which I have cracked the screen on. At first it was just a small cracked test I could live with, but it grown and it's tge entirely screen now and it's not longer responsive to touch.

I have tracked down a new LCD and digitizer completely but not sure of the strip down and rebuild procedure.

Can anyone helps with this please

Archos 5: Why won't my device hold a charge?

I've been charging my device for hours and it continues to run out of battery even though it's on the charger. I'm not sure if it's even charging the device at all. This issue is really annoying. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Archos 70b: Why is the touch screen unresponsive?

My Archos 70b screen stopped responding to my touches, when the screen does respond the response time is very slow. Do I have to replace the screen or is there another way to reset the device?

I recently bought a Bluetooth headset and I tried to connect to my Archos 70b, yet it wasn't reading it. I'm not sure if I need to buy a new Bluetooth or it's a problem with my Archos 70b.

My Archos 70b stopped charging while it is plugged in. I am only able to use it when its plugged in otherwise the battery does not hold a charge.

Archos Tablet: Half the screen gone blank?!

Hi half the screen of my archos 101 tablet has gone blank. I can see my icons on the good side but the other side is mainly white - see picture! I'm not sure what's caused it as my kids say they haven't dropped the tablet! I'm not a technically clued up person so can you please advise if this is an outer screen problem or inner display is shot? Thanks in advance!

Archos Tablet: Stuck in Account verification after account reset!

I was given a Archos ALBA 10” tablet - i reset the donor account due to sign in pattern being forgotten and completed a hard reset on the device.

I have waited 72 hours after account reset, and left the device for a full 24hrs - and the device is still blocking my account verification - i have tried to bypass the FRP using my keyboard, but it will not allow me to do it, as i my device only has an Android keyboard, not a google keyboard as shown in most FRP bypass tutorials

i am willing to root the device to access, but i cant do this due to USB debugging not being activated.

Can anyone please help, as it is “driving me nuts” - although this wasn’t originally my tablet, this could of easily happen on my own device - it is basically a paperweight

Archos Tablet: SD Card - Installation of stock ROM to my device

Can anyone tell me how i write a ROM to an SD Card of a unrooted device - i cant access the SD Card on the device, as Android wont start up after a resetting of the device - so i am resetting the ROM.

Can it be done on my PC, OR another Android device - is there anything i need to do to the SD Card - make it bootable or format it in a particular way

Any help would be appreciated !!!!!!!!!!

Can i create an SD card for my tablet, to complete a recovery from the SD Card on a hard reset. - i cannot log in to my tablet due to device blocking google account verification - checked my google account is fine -cant access the setting on the tablet, so as a result USB debugging isnt enabled.

So i am wondering if i can create, or save a custom ROM to its SD Card - i can wipe it and start again !!!!!!

PLEASE HELP - MY TABLET IS A PAPERWEIGHT A.T.M

Tablet stuck in FRP after hard reset.

I was given this tablet as a gift by a friend, but she suffers from M.E so is forgetful about the device being set up.

I am not sure if its because another Gmail account was used to set it up.

I have tried the bypass method using the keyboard, but it only has a standard android keyboard at set up !!!!!!

Is there anyway i can get into the ROM and see what e mail is registered on the devices FRP.

Can anyone show me or direct me on how i can wipe the ROM with a new “custom" ROM - or new STOCK ROM

I have Archos tablet 101 x2 and have problems in touch screen.

After I made hard reset and screen booted up in the same time the touch scree was working but after turned it off and on again, everything was OK except touch sensor had not been working no more. some can help me on this.
