Apple Xserve 2009: Xserve won't show anything on screen, only PSU fans on

Hey everyone,

Grabbed a 2009 Xserve to tinker with, it won’t show anything on screen, the CPU doesn’t get warm, the PSU fans are the only fans that are on.

All the LEDs on the edge of the second expansion slot are green, the CPUA MEM LED is lit up green, the System State is reported as S0 by a green LED, and the PLT_RST is orange. The orange status LED blinks, then off, then more blinking

I can answer any questions needed, I’ve already reseated the CPU and RAM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Apple Xserve 2009: A 2006 xserve optical drive caddy install

I have a 2006 xserve (emc2107) . I just ordered 2 optical drive HDD cady's for the 2008 20" iMac(emc2133). Both xserve/iMac use the same connector (PATA) for the optical drive. My question is, does anyone know if someone else has tried this and/or is there some complication I might run into?

Apple Xserve 2009: OSX Upgrade on 2006 xserve

I have an xserve 2006 (emc2107) running MacOSX 10.7.2 Lion Server. I read that it can be upgraded to 10.7.5. I burned a copy of 10.7.5 client upgrade and 10.7.5 server upgrade. Here is the good part, I mislabled the disks. So I used 10.7.5 client upgrade on the xserve running 10.7.2 Server. Is there a way to recover my server os? I hope that just installing the 10.7.5 Server upgrade will work but I don't wanna make things worse. Basically if anyone can give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Apple Xserve 2009: 2 of 3 RAID drives have degraded. Can anyone help with this?

We have an Xserve from 2011 and I understand that production of these discontinued and support is no longer available. 3 RAID drives were fitted and 2 have degraded and need replacing. I am trying to find someone who would be able to source the parts and undertake the repair for us on site. We are based in Farnham in Surrey. Please let me know if you know of any companies who will still support this hardware.
