Apple Watch Series 5: Replacement Battery Not Charging - Boot Loop

I installed the new iFixit battery on my wife's Apple Watch Series 5 40mm. It appears that the new battery is completely dead. After placing on the charger, it displays the apple logo for a few seconds, goes completely black then displays the apple logo again. It just keeps looping and never fully boots or shows that it's charging. I replaced with the original battery and it boots fine. What can I do?

Apple Watch Series 5: What parts does the  Watch SE share with the Series 5?

Does the  Watch Series 5 share the same display assembly as the SE? I’m shopping for an SE display and I’ve noticed that some websites list them as for 5/SE. Examples: 1, 2, 3,

I’m skeptical because a few years ago, sellers listed parts for the iPhone SE as iPhone 5se, and while the screens were interchangeable, many them incorrectly assumed that all parts for the iPhone 5s and the iPhone SE were compatible- which they are not.

I’ve also seen a few sellers who claim that the SE display is specific to the GPS or GPS+LTE models, like this guy on eBay who says “for LTE cellular model only” That’s not correct, is it?

Apple Watch Series 5: Display without digitizer stays black

I recently bought a series 5 with broken display glass. I was able to separate the broken glass and digitizer from the display succesfully.

At first I thought the display was broken after the separation since it stayed black. But at some point the battery died and suddenly the display showed the following image:

After charging for a while, the watch turned on and went into black screen again and stayed black.

I am currently waiting for the replacement digitizer to arrive, but I assume the series 5 is showing a black screen, when no digitizer is connected.

Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

Thanks

Apple Watch Series 5: Touch not working after screen replacement

I replaced the screen on my 40mm iWatch Series 5 and the screen shows everything correctly post repair, but I cannot get the screen to respond to my touch at all and can't get past the security code.

While repairing I wasn't sure if I had damaged the force touch sensor gasket, so I tried to install a new one. I was not at all confident of that part of the repair. The kit came with the force touch gasket sensor and a couple of the adhesive seals for either side of the gasket. The repair video doesn't go into any detail about how to apply these and after I had put one of the adhesive layers down on the cleaned case bottom rim, then the force gasket, then another layer of adhesive and finally the screen, it didn't seem to fit very snugly in the case and appeared to be riding a little bit above it. I can easily open the case with a fingernail after the repair, so pretty sure there is too much between the case bottom and the screen.

Does anyone have clearer instructions for replacing the force touch sensor and related adhesive?

Also is there any information on the three connectors from the motherboard to the display? The middle one on mine under a loupe looks a little sketchy. Could that be another reason the touch screen is no longer responding correctly for me?

Thanks in advance,

Apple Watch Series 5: Best Non OEM Replacement Screen?

Subject is an Apple Series 5, 40 MM watch with a cracked screen. I can still see the icons.

Do I need anything more than a replacement screen kit to fix this?

There are multiple screen kits available ranging from $10 to over $200. Which is the best bang for the buck. It doesn't make sense to buy a $139 screen kit for a watch that old.

I wanted to come here and ask if you guys think it is a battery or a motherboard issue? I mean, Its brand new but has not been charged for 3 years. Last night I plugged it in and still no signs.
