Apple Watch Series 3: Water damaged Apple Watch

I went out for a run, took my watch off because it died and I put it in my pants pocket. I washed those pants and now the screen is cracked and has water damage. It will not turn on. I’ve tried everything. Is there any possibility that my watch could be fixed and if so what would it cost? It’s a Series 3 I believe.

Apple Watch Series 3: Why is my watch getting hot charging after screen replacement?

So I recently changed my wife’s screen last night and stuck it on the charger. I got the green snake and left it overnight. The next morning I checked on it and it wasn’t charged. I tried to reset the watch but it stays at the green and red snake. Now when I put it back on the charger it gets very very hot.
Apple Watch Series 3: Apple watch stuck in a boot loop

Alright, here's the situation: Couple days ago I've noticed that for some reason the apple watch wasn't connected to my phone which was weird but wasn't the first time it happened to me so I just turned it off. Ever since I tried turning it back on it's been stuck in a boot loop and I've tried everything with no success. Force restart, force restart while on charger, letting it run out of battery and then trying to force restart after it charges and nothing. I'm running out of ideas and have no idea what to do next. Bringing it to apple is not an option for me.

Apple Watch Series 3: Series 3 guts into an 1st gen Apple Watch case possible?

I have both an 1st gen Apple Watch and a series 3. My 1st gen is stainless, sapphire and ceramic, and want to swap the guts of my Series 3 into my 1st gen. Is this possible?

Update (02/17/2018)

Thank you everyone. I guess I should’ve expanded a bit more on my reasoning why I feel “value” on my question.

I forked out Benjamins on a step up from the lower tier aluminum, ion, composite option. I got my Series 3 as a raffle, and comparing the two, it feels as if the new came out of a Cracker Jacks box, and feels cheap, compared to the kick ass feeling of stainless, sapphire and ceramic back.

There is the “value” I personally see seeking advice, or suggestions. I guess, I could also just sell both, and just fork out the difference.

First-world problems are a darn thing nowadays. Thanks all.

Apple Watch Series 3: Apple Watch 3 won't start up past Apple logo after battery replacement

Hi Team,

I just replaced the battery of my Apple Watch folloing this iFixit guide with the iFixit battery replacement kit.

Before sealing the watch, I tried to restart it to no avail. I placed it on the charging pod and it displayed the “snake screen”, meaning I guess the battery was completely empty. I let it charge for a couple of hours, but I can’t get it starting again.

Just pressing the side button doesn’t do anything.

Doing a force restart pushing both the side button and the digital crown for 10 seconds does indeed bring up the apple logo , but after that nothing happens. The logo stays on for some time (varying between on minute to more than 10 minutes) than it disappears….

I tried to disconnect and reconnect the battery, to no avail.

Is there anything I can do to bring this watch bach to life ?

Thnx a lot fort your help !
