Apple Watch SE: Unable to verify update

I have an Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) that was exposed to water a long time ago and stopped working. Recently I managed to power it on again, but it is completely reset.

When I try to pair it with my iPhone 13 (iOS 26), I’m forced to update the watch to watchOS 10.x. The update downloads, but when installation starts I always get the error:

“Unable to verify update. The watchOS update could not be verified because you are not connected to the internet.”

I am definitely connected to the internet and have tried Wi-Fi, mobile data, different networks, resets, and manual pairing without success.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Could this be caused by hardware damage (for example Wi-Fi/Bluetooth corrosion from the earlier water exposure), or is there any known workaround?

Apple Watch SE: Touchscreen issues after battery replacement

I changed the battery of my Apple Watch SE 40mm. Everything went well until I tested the watch—the touchscreen no longer works. Of course, I checked the flex cables behind the screen, and they are properly connected. Only the tape on the flex cables was damaged. Could this be the cause? thanks a lot

Bonjour tout le monde, j'ai changer la batterie de mon apple watch Se 40mm, tout a bien été jusqu'au moment ou tester la montre, l'ecran tactile ne fonctionne plus, j'ai bien sur verifier les nappes derriere lecran, elles sont bien mises.... il y a que le scotch des nappes qui a été endommager, cela pourrait il venir de ca? je vous remercie

Hello there!
I need a little bit help with digitizer replacement on apple watch SE.

Here is the problem: I did manage to do few successful glass/digitizer replacement, but recently one problem started to appear, the right bottom corrner of display doesnt react to touch. Even if i check the digitizer before instalation, it happends again, and so far happened about 5 times in row.

Im using the LOCA technique as i dont own autoclave.

Im trying to figure out what is the part im messing up, as most likely its my foult, tho few digitizers i bought didnt work properly.

Maybe its worth mentioning that sometimes if a little bubbles appear on LOCA during application i squize them out using very little of pressure around the spot, but i dont think thats the reason for malfunction.

Im kindly asking for any advice!

Apple Watch SE: Lost Wifi after replacing display

I replaced the display in the Apple Watch SE. Before I put it back together it was all working. I glued the screen on and when I came back this morning, it won't see any wifi networks at all. I've restarted the watch, etc. Any ideas? I don't even know where the antenna is, but is it possible I somehow dislodged it or something? Not looking forward to taking the display off a second time but will if I have to

Apple Watch SE: How would I go about replacing cracked glass?

Good afternoon all,

So one of my relatives owns a watch that works flawlessly...except for a cracked screen. Well, it's only the glass that is cracked and the screen is good.

That begs the question: could i replace the glass without disposing a display, and if so what would it require?

In case you're wondering, my relative was doing some work and accidentally dropped the watch when putting it on, and it went kapoof.

I won't be doing this anytime soon as i'm very busy but i do plan to have it up and running again in the next few months.

Basically my question is (TLDR version): Would i have to get a whole display assembly or would it be fine to get just the glass as a display is a hell of a lot more than just the glass (It's an SE 44mm Cellular in case that helps somehow).

Succeeded changing screen, however it didnt turn on, swapped it back with cracked one, didnt give image either, watch vibrates when pressing buttons, watch may have been on when changing screen, didnt disconnect battery, should i wait to battery to drain?

Watch still fully functional. No particular instance of abuse brought this on; I picked it up to go on a run and found the piece missing. Of course Apple does not stand by their products and is of no help, so I have to fix it myself…is it just glued on? Is my watch still water resistant with it missing? I can’t find anything on this—any knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

My 44mm watch cracked at the back glass and i cannot find any replacement. Would a Series 5 back glass work? They seems identical

I replaced the outer glass of se series watch.

The digitizer was damaged and had to be replaced as well.

When the device is restarted, the watch disconnects and disconnects itself from the lte network.

The watch on version 7.3.3

Who can explain to me what the source of the problem is?
