Hey,

Usb-C port is not available on AppleTV 4k Edition.

How is it possible to connect Appletv 4k to ituens ?

I heared ,something about recovery/DFU mode over a WiFi connection

I asked this question in Official Apple community Forum,but nobody answer.

I dropped Apple tv 4K Siri remote, glass portion of remote is cracked like a web. Wondering if there is any information on repairing the glass with a replacement glass or other material without buying a new or used remote?

It looks like (from pictures) that the Apple TV 4K has a vent on the bottom. I’m wondering if it has an active cooling solution (i.e. with a fan) or is just passive cooling (without a fan).

My AppleTV 4K won’t turn on and I believe I need to replace the power supply. Looks to be straight forward. However, I don’t know where to buy a new power supply. iFixit.com does not sell them. Any suggestions?

The battery in my apple remote fails to hold a charge more that 4 hours unplugged. so I figure needs new one. The remote is from a 4th gen apple tv, but the remote may be 1st gen? any how the info I have is off battery A519 Li-ion 3.78v 410 mAH 020-8476 It has two solder on tabs on two corners, close to them. Apple says its not replacable. I have the remote apart. But I stopped to see if battery available before I go any further I hope one is available I had purchased A battery for my old iPhone 6 and it worked great, until phone itself went wonkie

Apple TV 4K: Advice on offbeat use for AppleTV 4K (A1842)

Hello, hope everyone is staying safe & keeping well!

As the title suggests, I have an offbeat & very specific use for a spare ATV4K I have.

I'm intending to strip all the innards & just keep the logic board & power it with a TalentCell 12v Lithium Ion Battery Pack.

I'm wondering if this is possible since the ATV4K A1842 model draws 12v @ 1.083A.

I'm planning to use this for a portable AirPlay unit to display my PowerPoint presentations remotely in 1080p resolution (or less) TV sets. I will also be using it to mirror my iPhone's video when I fly my DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone.

My iPhone & modded ATV4K w/battery pack will always be close together for Peer-to-Peer adhoc connections using AirPlay.

Any confirmation or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The siri remote that came with my tv doesn’t stay paired unless it is plugged in. It is brand new, and it shows as having 80% charge on the TV. Any help would be appreciated :)
