Apple Magic Keyboard A1843: Bluetooth not working on Apple Magic Keyboard A1843

My Apple Magic Keyboard A1843 only works when connected via cable to my computer. Bluetooth doesn’t seem to function at all.

I’ve already tried the following:

Resetting the keyboard

Removing (“forgetting”) the device from Bluetooth settings on all other devices

Ensuring the keyboard is fully charged

*

Despite these steps, the keyboard still won’t connect wirelessly. Has anyone experienced this before or have suggestions on what else I could try?
