Hi Guys,

my trusty old airport extreme did not come back after a restart while I tried to tweak the settings for the bridge / router mode. Now, when i turn it on, it´s the steady amber light, no connection whatsoever and the reset button is not working at all.

I opened the box to see if the reset button was alright and it seems to be ok, physically, with clicking noise and intact solder points.

I don´t want to throw it away, so.. any suggestions what could be the case here?

Apple Airport Extreme Model A1408: My aiport wont recognize ethernet port.

My airport just stopped recognizing the ethernet port. It says ethernet not connected so you cant even downgrade firmware even if that was the issue. Anyone else had this problem?

Apple Airport Extreme Model A1408: Why will my printer no longer work, with my AirPort Extreme?

I have a 5th generation AirPort Extreme Model No. A1408. I have had my Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer connect to my AirPort Extreme for several months now. Even though the printer is not a wireless printer, by connecting it to my Airport Extreme I can print to it wirelessly over my Wi Fi network.

That is, however, until just a few days ago when it it suddenly quit printing and I was getting the message that the printer was not connected to the network.

I have tried all the usual remedies, such as checking all my connections, resetting the Airport, rebooting the whole system, but to date nothing has worked.

I disconnected the printer and connected it directly to my computer, and it worked great

My network is still up and running and my phone system, which is connected to the Airport, still works fine.

It is only the USB port that seems not to be working.

I would appreciate any help you can give me.
