Apple MagSafe2 Power Adapter: Dim Orange charging light

Original Apple 85w charger, clean like new, no damage or bends on the cable, the Pins on the connector and the charging port are spotless clean but the orange light when charging is quite dim (Green light is bright OK), It is charging the MacBook as per normal and is not getting hot. I tested the MacBook with another charger and it is much brighter (normal). The battery is getting old and will be replaced when the replace now message comes (910 CC 74%). What is possibly causing this? Dying charger?

Does the "USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter" (SKU: MW2Q3ZM/A) have a built-in "sound card" or is it just a plain adapter cable?

There is no hint on Apple's site of it being a DAC also.

Hi,

I change many power supply's cables, but it a new model. It has got yellow felt cover is soldered. I don't remember, I didn't look at it before I soldered it out. Should the soldering of the two points meet? I circled the picture. One is the black cable that goes to the magnet, and the other is the point of the copper covering.

Hi,
My magsafe2 has a 3v no-load voltage and 2.43v when I connect a 40kohm resistor.

It's tested both at the cable end and inside the box where the cable is soldered.
Any common problems that can cause it? Schematics that can assist to trace the problem?

My charger is not working after a high voltage fault occur in my locality. At the time of fault my charge was at ideal position I.e. was not using at that moment for charging, my charger was plugged in board and switch was on but was not using it to charge, after electricity retained back my charger was not working. In fact almost all charger of my home gone. So what are possible damaged comments in my MagSafe 2 45w charger

Hello, I have a MagSafe 2 (45W) charger that is not working, apparently there was a short circuit (the wires broke), I fixed the wires, and measuring with a tester the output is 0.6V, when it should be 3V according to the documentation. Can you give me some idea of what the problem might be?
