Hello,

I recently dug out my Apex converter box so I could watch TV from my Toshiba CRT television. I plugged it in, and pressed the power button, and it flashed red. Nothing showed up on screen. I held the button, and it continued flashing. That happened for a bit, until it turned green. The remote did the same. I saw a few white lines on-screen, and then nothing. I also heard some buzzing sounds when I pressed the button. I unplugged it and the high-pitched noise faded out along with the red light. The issue's very hard to describe in words. Is there any way to fix this, or is my converter broken?

Apex Digital DTV Converter Box: Power Light won't stay on

Apex DT502 digital converter box is hooked up. But when I press the “ON” button — either from the remote or on the box itself — the light turns from red to green, then immediately back to red. It won’t stay green at all. If I press and hold the power button on the box, it just flashes red. Any solutions?
